About this deal

To make the long story short; this drama isn’t directed for everyone but one thing’s for sure, it’s unlike other same-plot dramas since there are no cheesy moments, weak characters or shallow acting. This is a high class screenwriting that’s very rare to find in Korean or Asian dramas in general.

It's supposed to be the mark of a wise leader, right? The willingness to make sacrifices for a greater good? But nobody ever asks those 'sacrifices' if they're willing - they get no say in whether or not their kids die for some supposed greater good." [Nahri e-Nahid]” This is such a emotional review i know, but i don't want to say much about it beside.. just gooo gooo read it if you haven'tAli fights his way through using his new water powers, and eventually bumps into Vizaresh, the ifrit from Cairo, and Dara. Satoru quirked an eyebrow, staring at his rival with an amused expression. Though the word ‘rival’ might have been a bit too strong to describe his relationship with the sorceress. Her existence challenged him, but not to a level he was uncomfortable or to the point where he felt threatened by it. He was also supposed to marry her one day, but that was another subject altogether. Meanwhile, Ali has been exiled for daring to defy his father. Hunted by assassins, adrift on the unforgiving copper sands of his ancestral land, he is forced to rely on the frightening abilities the marid, the unpredictable water spirits, have gifted him. But in doing so, he threatens to unearth a terrible secret his family has long kept buried.

As a devout Muslim going on Hajj was very important to him, so in 1324, he travelled on a pilgrimage to Mecca with 60,000 men, some of whom were enslaved. They carried gold and other riches, some of which was distributed to the poor along the route. So much gold was traded and donated that it caused the price of gold to collapse in Cairo and other cities. There wasn’t a single chapter that didn’t pull me in heart and soul! I ended this book with my heart full and my mind filled with thoughts of these characters. Dara also has a rich and complex arc in this book, but it took a while for me to understand him fully. And I didn’t enjoy his chapters as much I did Ali’s and Nahri’s. They were dark and disturbing sometimes (blame Manhizeh for that and even Dara’s perspective which was always in conflict). My friend called his chapters Grimdark - in comparison to the exciting Fantasy and Adventure of Ali and Nahri’s chapters - and I agree. But rest assured, the author put so much care into bringing all three POV characters’ stories to the right place for them. I laughed, i cried, i screamed, i wept, i cheered, i message all my friends who already read this and fangirling with them! I have loved watching Empire of Gold....and Go Soo...an incredible actor....hope he stars in a new show soon....

Kang, Jung-yeon (24 May 2013). "Ko Soo, Lee Yo-won to Struggle for Power and Money in New TV Series". TenAsia. Archived from the original on 28 March 2014 . Retrieved 12 June 2013. Firstly, Congratulations to S.A.Chakraborty on completing her debut trilogy, what a fantastic and hard-earned achievement! When Satoru entered the classroom, he expected it to be deserted. There were only a handful of other students in his year and they were all far more quiet and less troublesome than he was, the likelihood that they’d end up in detention beside him was preposterous.
