Deleted Scenes (HD, 7 Mins.) - There are five extended scenes, none of which add any big plot or reveal to the story. We don’t have an exact release date for The Secrets of Dumbledore on DVD and Blu-ray just yet. That means we need to look at other movies from the same production studio. This is a Warner Bros. movie, so we’re looking at The Matrix Resurrections and The Batman as both have been among the biggest releases in recent months. The Dumbledore Family Tree (HD, 9 Mins.) - All of the relatives and family of Albus Dumbledore are covered here. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore follows on from 2018’s The Crimes of Grindelwald, and it was originally intended that there would be five films, and they’d be released two years apart from the last. The whole thing feels like it’s shot in the dark. Even the daytime scenes look poorly lit, as if it’s overcast the whole time.

The Candidates Dinner (HD, 5 Mins.) - The big scene in the movie is talked about by the cast and crew and is show how it was made. There are about 77 minutes of bonus material that include cast and crew interviews and some on-set footage on how they made the film. These are standard EPK type of featurettes but are fun nonetheless.But as well as having to try and retool the franchise and scripts a bit, everything was delayed by the Chinese Communist Government releasing a virus to try and quell the riots going on in cities like Hong Kong at the time, in late 2019. And then it got out of control as we all experienced.

This is one of the dates we’d predicted (we did give two potential dates based on other Warner Bros. movies). This isn’t surprising. Even during the pandemic, Warner Bros. attempted to keep things consistent with releases, even when it came to when everything came out on streaming at the same time as in theaters. Synopsis: Professor Albus Dumbledore (Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines? The third movie in the franchise delves further into Dumbledore’s life. Set during the Second World War, the characters head to China, German, and Bhutan to deal with the growing threat of Gellert Grindelwald. However, will Albud decide to help to deal with the family or remain on the sidelines once more? When will the third Fantastic Beasts movie come to DVD and Blu-ray?But before long, I knew I’d be looking up the plot on Wikipedia to fill in some gaps, because it wasn’t at all obvious what was going on for a lot of the time, and there was the customary mumbling as it went. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore comes with a good 1080p HD transfer that has a couple of issues due to its muted appearance and tone. The colors of this sequel stay within its gray and muted color walls. Rarely are there any pops of color. There are moments where orange and yellow magical spells or fire appear on the screen, which livens up the dreary display. Wardrobe outfits can come with red and green, but more often than not, the key color realm here is gray silver, and shades of blue. There are elements of green in the trees that surround the castle, but other than that, this is not a great-looking image - color-wise. Whether you really enjoyed the movie or not, it’s impossible not to keep your Harry Potter franchise collection going. There’s also precious little humour in the film, making this – at 2 hours and 22 minutes, the longest of the Fantastic Beasts films – quite a chore to sit through, especially when it’s such a meandering mess.

You’ll certainly want to add the third Fantastic Beasts movie to your DVD collection. There isn’t long to wait for The Secrets of Dumbledore on DVD and Blu-ray. I did note that at the start, for the creature Newt was with, which was giving birth (which I now know is a Qilin – but it sounded like Chillin), one of its offspring was stolen by Grindelwald’s henchmen and delivered to him, one of these men being his accomplice Credence Barebone ( Ezra Miller), who now sports long hair. It’s taken about two-and-a-half months for the movies to go from theaters to DVD and Blu-ray. We’re looking at something similar for the third Fantastic Beasts movie. With that in mind, we’re looking at around June 28 or July 5 as the DVD and Blu-ray release date. More often than not, when the main character is replaced in a sequel by another actor, box office and critical praise go down. So is the case with Johnny Depp being replaced here by the impressive Mikkelsen. To make matters worse, Ezra Miller is still on bright display in this film, but judging by how poorly Secrets of Dumbledoredid money-wise, this might be its last outing theatrically-wise, forgoing the next two planned sequels. Even though a young Dumbledore is saving the day in these movies, there are not enough thrills or fun to make these films appealing. Warner Bros. chose the dark path with these Fantastic Beastsmovies and has added only one character to deliver some sort of comedic role or a small amount of charm. Otherwise, it's all about brooding and being moody for hours on end." Magical or Muggle (HD, 5 Mins.) - A fun little came with the cast and crew who decide who is a muggle or a wizard.Dumbledore Through The Ages (HD, 8 Mins.) - Cast and crew discuss the character, including J.K. Rowling. Cast: Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston, Mads Mikkelsen The Magic of Hogwarts (HD, 6 Mins.) - The actors talk about the amazing sets that were built for the movie.

Oh, and for quite a lot of the way during the film, it was freezing cold in there. Have they had the heating cut off?

Battle In Bhutan (HD, 6 Mins.) - The visual effects team, filmmakers, and actors talk about how they shot the final scene of the movie. Even More Fantastic Beasts (HD, 7 Mins.) - The new and older creatures from all the films are discussed and shown. Obviously, I won’t say how things turn out, but whereas the trailer makes a big thing about Mads wanting to wipe out the Muggles, this speech doesn’t come into play until the third act. They should’ve brought that up early on, and spent the film dealing with that. Then, it would’ve had the entire film to play out, but from what I gathered, this isn’t going to be part of the next film, so it was just a wasted opportunity. I’d heard this film brought up subplots which go nowhere, but that’s definitely a major one of them!
