Excellent tonality and this is not just with respect to TWS. The tonality is great in general. A hint of warmth without any emphasis on any frequencies, but also without any hint of roll off on both ends. Similar to all other TWS products, there is a box, you open it, take the case out, pair with your device; then listen. It’s not that I eschew unboxing parts, they simply get superfluous. I will add that it is a nice box, though.ZE3000 has a 7-hour battery life for the earbuds plus a further 5 charges from the case for a total of around 42 hours. Charging time is 1.5 hours for the earphones and 2 hours for the case. It is not surprising that final would release a True Wireless System in their own name after their successful Evangelion-themed collaboration, the EVA2020 TWS. In terms of design and material choice, the ZE3000 is absurdly beautiful and elegant, possibly the best I have seen so far. These are the coolest combination of curves, edges, and irregular shapes from final with an avant-garde, futuristic outline.Adding up to the clean and bright sound, is the wide soundstage the Final Audio sets up. Placing vocals forward, instruments and individual details appear on your left and right - seemingly from far away to close by. It's not a soundstage that feels very around you, but it's undoubtedly wide. There's an abundance of room between instruments, but ultimately, if you're used to a more dynamic sound, that's why it can also feel like there's plenty of space for the drums to be more impactful or the bass to dive a little deeper. Final Audio chooses not to walk that path.
