About this deal

On the flipside, if inconsistent feeling buttons are likely to bother you, it might be better to shell out a bit more budget to get everything you want. I don't think the mouse skates are shaped very well. They are pure ptfe which is nice, but if you are using a squishier pad such as an artisan soft or xsoft, the corners of the skates will dig into the pad. mouse skates that are rounder or cover more surface area dont have this issue. Minor complaint, but worth noting if you use that type of pad. He's been reviewing gaming peripherals for almost a decade and has reviewed hundreds of mice, keyboards, controllers and other gaming peripherals. First I will start with the positives of this mouse and get to the long list of gripes and shortcomings of it later.

Starlight-12 (M) review after heavy-use + Mods A detailed Starlight-12 (M) review after heavy-use + Mods

The strengths and weaknesses of the Air58 are similar to the Ultralight 2. The mouse is great, buttons, scroll wheel, shape, feet and cables are all top-notch. For anyone looking for a palm grip ultralight, the MM710 should be a consideration given its round shape. The mouse is built solidly, with a great cable and materials, for the price it’s incredible value. I'm not going to give the shape a rating because people will know their own preference. I fingertip and compared to the Delux M800, it has a much more flat shape similar to the Razer Viper Ultimate. I definitely like this mouse more than the RVU, both for weight, feeling, and shape for me. In comparison to the other mice I've tried, I'd say it's my second favorite fingertip shape to date only beaten by the G305. Nothing special to write home about, though. The cable, sensor and build quality are all there and offer a fantastic value given the Skoll Mini’s budget pricing.Overall, the mouse has substantially improved since doing these mods. In particular, I highly recommend the corepad grips. If you dislike holes on the side of your mouse, these remove the holes, give you incredibly good grip, look nice, and are easy to install. Plus, the extra control and consistency they give you is a massive bonus.

There are some concerns with quality control of the shell and gaps, the buttons and scroll wheel have shown some wobble. CoolerMaster’s entry into the ultralight space is a big win. The MM71o came in with a good original shape in the sea of shape clones. Now this is where things get iffy. Finalmouse uses a T5 Torx screw, and by god these are some of my least favorite screws in existence. I understand that they were used for weight purposes, but these screws are some of the easiest to strip screws ever. After doing my first set of mods with the aluminum tape in the mouse, I ended up stripping one of the screws because of how small they are, meaning I can no longer open up and mod my mouse. For most people, it may not be of worry, but for enthusiasts, this is a major let down. Also, because of how the T5 screw is placed, it is VERY difficult to get out once stripped. A massive bummer because if this mouse ever breaks, I'll have to send it for an RMA or do some serious shenanigans to fix it - which is not something you want to be doing for such an expensive product. I am also not a rage gamer either.. I take care of my peripherals well and I do not slam my mouse down or throw it around or anything.. so some of these cons are really just due to bad build quality and not from personal usage. Glorious improves on their original Model O with improved build quality and shrunken down shape made for claw and fingertip grips.

I'm also new to reviewing things and am only slightly into gaming mice hobby, so sorry if this ends up being an iffy review. The Starlight's were my first Finalmouse products, and spoilers, almost definitely my last. Not everything is perfect, it seems like button debounce is high and there’s a good amount of pre-travel on the primary buttons. The battery indicator is also kind of off. Take your PC gaming to the next level with the Finalmouse Starlight-12 Pegasus Wireless mouse (medium). Weighing in at 47 grams, the Starlight-12 Pegasus is one of the lightest mice in the Finalmouse catalog, ensuring lightning precision and accuracy in-game. According to Finalmouse, the mouse features a resolution (dpi) of up to 20,000, and an IPS of approximately 450+ with integrated illumination. Finalmouse estimates an average battery life of around 160 hours, or average use case of around 3 weeks of gaming. The Finalmouse Starlight-12 Pegasus (medium) is made by gamers, for gamers, engineered to be one of the best mice for eSports.

Finalmouse

There are some quality control concerns with Finalmice, some people have had scroll wheels break or have creaky weak points in the shell. The sensor also only runs at 500 hz. All the positives of the mouse come at a significant cost, while the UL2 is one of the best mice I’ve used, I’m not sure if the price justifies it, it’s also very hard to find. The mouse itself has a sensor that only runs at 500 hz. The Air58 is Finalmouse’s regular size ultralight mouse, featuring an ambidextrous shape similar to the FK series. Finalmouse should be heavily credited for contributing to the holey, ultralight craze. The Ultralight 2 is the latest mouse from the enigmatic mouse brand and caters to gamers that prefer small mice, it’s fitting that Finalmouse has the lightest gaming mouse on the market.First one is kinda more subjective so I will start with it.. I'd prefer mice to have smooth sides and not with holes. I'd gladly trade a couple grams of weight for smooth sides than having to grip a mouse with holes on the side. Just not very comfortable. Some people don't mind it, and this is mostly subjective, but it is a con for me.

Finalmouse Starlight-12 Pegasus Wireless Mouse Medium

The lightest mouse from Razer, the Viper Mini, is a mouse that doesn’t rely on the honeycomb pattern to achieve its lightweight. The Viper Mini does a good job of shrinking down the OG Viper shape, making it a great ambidextrous mouse for claw and finger tip grips. The Viper Mini sheds its grippy skin from the bigger Viper, I'll be giving two scores for the Finalmouse. One when I received and started playing with it, and then one after heavy-use (right now) like so:In the end though, mouse accuracy is down to muscle memory with your mouse and sensitivity, whether you have a weightless mouse or a bowling ball, if you’re used to it and good with it, all the power to you. What about heavy mice? The side buttons are phenomenal. Seriously... they are. They are light, crispy have a good size and feel, and are positioned in the best possible spot on the side of the mouse. You can differentiate between them easily as well. Gotta be up there with some of the best side mouse buttons of all time for sure. Little bit of post travel but that is a super minor complaint for how well these feel and I've used a lot of mice to compare. This is a great mouse, it has a fantastic shape with a soft touch plastic that’s nice texturally and strong structurally. The cable is the best cable I’ve experienced out of the box. All buttons and scroll wheel feel fantastic. I ended up doing a couple of mods on the mouse to see how it would change. You can open up the mouse via the bottom two feet and removing two T5 screws, so the mods I did include:
