As an aside, the company has been a joy to work with. They were exceptionally polite, cordial and patient as I went through my testing and evaluation. They tell me they have internal R&D team and it shows. The signal to noise ratio of about 70 dB is a value we would like to recommend the manufacturer to work on. Before I let you go Fosi Audio’s slogon on their box states that the Fosi BT20A is “Hifi Made Fun”. Is the Fosi BT20A actually fun or is it kind of boring? Its not though. Only cheap shit plays the sketchy fantasy wattage numbers game. Any decent class AB amp will hit or get within 10% of their specs, and or even sometimes exceed them. The same goes for bette class D moduels from the likes of IcePower or Hypex. The BT20A can receive audio via either its RCA Line in or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth receiver is limited to SBC and AAC codecs but testing with my iPhone the audio quality was more than acceptable. Sound
Overall, the major sound difference between the two amps was more detail in the music, provided by the BTA20A Pro. Should You Upgrade to the Fosi Audio BT20A Pro? I would say you might buy this because it’s small and cheap and can fit almost anywhere. It would be a good enough unit to use as a secondary system in a small room or even in a garage workshop where you don’t mind it getting dirty.

That‘s the chips spec at 10% THD, not the amps actual output capability. Everybody in the chipamp space does it, but that doesn‘t make it any less disingenuous … The TI TPA3255 seems to be a capable platform when paired with a good implementation which is what we have in BT20A Pro. You get a sense of that in company marketing material which includes Audio Precision measurements. Usability is excellent with high quality case and controls especially with respect to ability to set the tone controls to flat. I personally use TIDAL, and in the cable version I use my laptop as a source, and I connect my phone via Bluetooth. I was skeptical about the sound quality, but apparently the 5.0 technology works well because the difference between the quality when using the two sources is negligible. However, I recommend connecting the amplifier with your laptop through the Bluetooth implementation is clean - IMO this is better than the A07 Pro (which was very noisy in the model I have)
After listening to some songs using my vintage Pioneer PL-560 turntable, I was happy with how much better the sound quality was. I reviewed the original BT20A last year and there are some notable differences between the two units that may just tip the scales in favor of you upgrading to the Pro version.How does this little budget amplifier perform? Pretty well it turns out. This tiny guy has a lot of power on tap and it can easily drive most bookshelf speakers with ease. Sure, its measurements aren’t anything to write home about but they’re perfectly acceptable for the price. The operation of the relay commute, between audio and Bluetooth inputs is silent and effective. The useful Bluetooth range is more than 5 meters. The quality of the Bluetooth 4,2 audio is adequate for a second input. Not meant for an average music listener, Sonos Amp can make a center base for an entire home music system powering most of your sound sources. If you are not using the original factory standard power supply, please replace the power supply before testing. Many power supply in the market have large interference coefficient, which will cause a lot of current sound. Upgrade your speakers and subwoofer with a 120W@4ohm x2-channel amplifier, high-fidelity streaming music.

There're two plug-ins NE5532 Op-Amps can be replaced by SS3602 , MUSES02, OPA2604AP, OPA2134PAOp-Amps, etc. To create a different sound quality. SNR≥108dB; THD≤0.005%. Not having heard the TI chip I won’t claim that Hypex or ICEpower are “better”. I have read about the superiority of Hypex over ICEpower, for example, and ICEpower modules can be found in my dual-mono Calyx CTI integrated, which sounds fantastic – but the implementation matters as much as the chip. Reply Ensure that the positive and negative poles of the speaker output do not touch together. Some relatively large banana plugs are easy to touch together and cause a short circuit.As for the turntables do not have a built-in preamp, you need to add an external phono preamp before connecting BT20A.
