Description

Heart of Stone was released by Netflix on August 11, 2023. [16] Within its first two days, the film was number one on the Netflix English-language list with 33.1 million views. [17] Reception [ edit ]

I liked the touch of Faith it had throughout and how Rembrandt finally understood what he needed to do. I loved his and Eve's relationship in the past tense and present. I think it truly showed what a soul mate really is. I appreciated the way the authors treated marriage and the process of getting to it. I understand that some physical situations will occur, but they never crossed the line (in my opinion) at least not with the present Rembrandt. Fix it Jesus" has been my motto from the beginning of this series and I will say that it reached maximum intensity in this one, largely because I knew it was the last one and it was absolutely imperative that we get it right.I'm still trying to grasp everything in this last story! You wonder how authors will bring so many threads together of a story, and they did it seamlessly. All of the dots connected and came together in a last ditch effort for Rem to find a time he could live in. The use of AI as the center MacGuffin in the movie feels quite timely, especially now that there is so much talk about Artificial Intelligence and its benefit or harm to society and how the technology may ultimately replace us and actually destroy the value of human labor. So, is ‘Heart of Stone’ based on a true story, a book, or anything similar? Heart of Stone' is a slowly unfolding period romance between a vampire and his inimitably devoted clerk: lushly depicted in flowing, lovingly appended prose, we follow the slow understanding these two men grasp of one another, and the cross of their two worlds into each other's. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Like, the motorcycle chase scene looks awfully similar to the scene in ‘Rogue Nation.’ Or that airplane jumps from ‘Fallout’ that’s so obviously CGI in ‘Heart of Stone’ (whereas the insane but brilliant Tom Cruis actually jumped off of a plane). Yeah, it’s safe to say that they actually wanted to make a female-led ‘Mission: Impossible.’

This book felt revelatory. There’s something deeply loving about all of the characters, in and of themselves but also the way they look out for each other. It has a broader sense of community than your typical historical romance. Then there’s the writing itself, utterly gorgeous prose. It has an old-fashioned, otherworldly feel.Henry was amazing too, I loved him, but Theophilus is more My Type of Character. The side characters were also very strong, even those we didn't see much, like Marcellus and Genesius (I'm excited to read the short story about them!)

I want to give a warning at the beginning of my review. You are going to need time to recover after you finish this story. Consider yourself warned! Steven Price Scoring Tom Harper's 'Heart of Stone' ". Film Music Reporter. June 16, 2023. Archived from the original on June 16, 2023 . Retrieved June 16, 2023. This is a beautiful and very slow-paced romance novel, and I recommend it enthusiastically. It feels luxuriant. Two interesting characters surprise themselves by falling in love with each other, and there is a lot of very intense and detailed pining. Warren pens a tightly written suspense novel that engages the reader from the beginning and holds their interest until its conclusion. This is the last novel with Rembrandt and while the reader will miss him, they will be satisfied with its ending. Heart of Stone is filled with hope, suspense, action, faith, and plenty of twists! The plot twists will keep the reader on the edge of their seat, especially in the final chapters. If I had one wish this Christmas, it would be to give Krystina what she desperately wanted more than anything—a baby. Johannes Evans was born in Newport on the 30th of May, 1997, and grew up in a small town named Chepstow in South Wales, spending his summers on the south coast of Crete.

Man, I wish more romance novels was written like this one. This book is the epitome of slow burn romance and while I could wish for a slightly earlier resolution (more on that later), I still gotta say I loved the slow burn. For all its supernatural and period trappings, this was at its heart (hah) a novel really about two people trying to fall in love from a great distance, and how they overcame each hurdle along the way. Alexander was the glue holding my shattered soul together. This should’ve been one of the happiest times in my life, but the darkness still loomed. You guys, do NOT miss this story... this series! It's incredible and will always be one of my all time favorites!! Writing collectively as David James Warren, USA Today bestselling author Susan May Warren, award-winning author James L. Rubart, and new voice, David C. Warren, are the creators of THE TRUE LIES OF REMBRANDT STONE. I can go on and on about how great this series was, how the authors took it to the next level, how, if you are patient, you will grow along with Rem in his journey to correct things, to see the truth and come face to face with that and God, but...READ THIS SERIES!
