Invicta actually produces a huge selection of watches, some of their most popular collections include the Pro Diver, Speedway, Subaqua, and the Russian Diver. They’re also known for their wide selection of oversized chunky watches. These bigger watches have quite a cult following, Invicta really excels in this area. For a mid-range watch, mineral crystal provides better quality than glass and acrylic which can easily shatter. Mineral crystals are break resistant but get scratches easily so you should be careful about where you put and touch with this watch. Though it is not as durable as the sapphire crystal, it’s good for its price. The watch strap is a standard fold over clasp with a fold over safety as seen in one of the images below. The Invicta Watch Group is one of the most popular brands when it comes to pro diver watches. It was founded more than centuries ago with an objective that each timepiece they offer will have supreme performance for a minimum price. One member donated a case, another assembled a dial from a one-off print-out and indices, and a third contributed the case and movement.

The good thing with Invicta’s watch is they give other people access to automatic watches at a low price. The movement that Invicta used may not be as high grade as other brands but this gave an option for people to buy affordable automatic watches without the Seiko name tagging on it. The case of the Invicta comes quite close to that of the Submariner. If it were not for one bizarre decision that makes my head hurt. I did a simple dial and hands mod, where I changed the dial to a BSH dial. A BSH dial is one created for members / participants of a thread in the watchuseek forums called Brotherhood of the Submariner Homages. It’s signed with a very nice BSH logo, with the S comprised of a rope twisted around an anchor.The strap size is 20 mm. and stainless steel. This type of strap is water resistance and is better than other regular straps since it doesn’t tarnish and is durable.
That is why, in defence of the Invicta, I would like to point out that while the bracelet suffers in comparison with the Rolex it is very much in line with other watches of that price segment. This is the most popular generic insert sold in the world. They are available in many colors and styles from many sources. Copying and riding the design of another expensive watch is like plainly stealing and it just shows that they don’t have unique designs that can help the company stand out from other watch models.Before summing up my thoughts on the pro diver I feel like this is important to touch upon. Learning how the sausage gets made, while uncomfortable, may play a factor in whether you want to buy this watch. That is because Invicta is like the sweatshop of the watch industry. A lot the customers liked how Invicta created an automatic watch that is sold at a cheap price. They also liked how similar it looked with the Rolex Submariner making it look elegant and appealing. This also gives off a classy style which can be used in any events. But a lot of people appreciated the watch after buying it. They found the product “outstanding” for the price. From my experience many of the mechanisms are Chinese, nothing wrong with that but case has ref. to being somehow Swiss. A little naughty! My current Invicta 15081 is very reliable. When changing the battery the mechanism turned out to be Chinese and not Swiss.
