The fancy new feature is 'hover over' sensing, apparently enabled on the new device thanks to a co-processor within the M2 chip. This is where the iPad Pro 12.9-inch really comes alive, delivering quite simply the best performance we’ve ever seen on a tablet. With previous iPad Pros we might have hedged a little here, and said it was among the best-performing tablets but this is a step above what we’ve seen on previous iPads and Android slates. English (UK, U.S.), Chinese (Simplified, Traditional), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish iPadOS 16 also adds the 'Hover' support in Apple Pencil, of course, but we've already covered that. And in the future, Apple will launch an interesting new collaborative note-making app called 'Freeform', but that wasn't available at the time of writing.
