Joop Homme Eau de Toilette has been the unique signature scent for unique men since 1989. A classic male fragrance loved by men and women alike that still stands out from the crowd. Yes, it might have lost its relevancy as it was a 90s creation but let's be honest, perfumes from the 90s are gorgeous and full of character, however it still remained sexy, fresh and a bit mysterious. It has these '90s vibes, it really does. I don't know what it is, but it is there. and it is different, than a typical freshy. The mix of notes creates a masculine aromatic accord, that is reminiscent of lime/bergamot/grapefruit, with a bit of sweetness. Nightflight opens up with a citric note accompanied by lavender and an extremely synthetic combo that I couldn't identify. This is the scent which planted the seed for Mont Blanc Legend and A&F Fierce, although it's nowhere near as bold. Considering how solid those two fragrances are, I'm surprised Nightflight is not more well known; perhaps it was just ahead of its time.

Sillage is huge for like first 2 hours, then it became skin scent. I prefer it during cold weather or when I am walking outside. It may be also nice summer party scent and is available rather cheap.

I could see myself liking this better but as of right now I highly dislike this ! I disliked Joop but I dislike this even more than the original Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette is an unusual fragrance for men. Its overall aroma can be classified as woody, floral, and Oriental. This fragrance for men has been on sale for several years, with the German brand Joop! being introduced into the American market in the mid-1990s. From Head to Heart its definately diffrent from the original and just sweet and sour enough it becomes spontaneous and sexy on the wearer

I've been wearing this and have gotten nothing but compliments. These days it's dropped a lot in price and in my opinion, worth the buy. This is very much like green Irish Tweed BUT it is tone down version; GIT is pretty loud on top notes as compared to this. Joop Homme opens with a stunning citrusy blast of mandarin, lemon, bergamot and orange blossom. The heart is sensual, cool and seductive like the modern man with a blend of jasmine, lily of the valley, heliotrope and cinnamon in the heart. Finally to finish in the base you will find the warmth of vanilla and sandalwood combined with an oriental mix tonka bean and patchouli. I've got to say every time I spray this I think Lemon Pine-Sol. Granted it is more complex(and better) it kind of screams what you think might be sophistication but is too noisy to be sure. In essence it's a loud lemon squeezed on flowers stepped on a hardwood floor.In 1992, this fragrance came to the market to conquer men who didn’t surrender to the aroma and the success of Joop! I like this scent. Bought it because of the cool name, and I find myself using it every now and then. Nice bottle and great sprayer. This one has a nice name and it was quite fashionable in Central Europe in the first half of the 1990s. Good for days when I feel extra confident and have a high level energy. On those days it gives me an extra boost. BUT it's still not horrible .... Yes what you get in the opening is what your going to the rest of the fragrance but the harshness does calm down after an hour and the rose comes in making this slightly more pleasant. I have gotten whiffs of this hours later and thought it was kind of nice. Still not great though and I don't see myself wearing this again.I'll give it a 8/10 because of the drydown and 12+hours longevity. There are better summer juices out there, but for the money it's a steal. Nightflight was my first "more expensive" buy in the early nineties, i loved the fragrance as i can still smell it in memory and as Couturegure says clear and wise, this scent is made in a era of remarkable ones instead of the mainstream scents nowadays. Joop Nightflight starts with huge blast of synthetic citrus/pineapple combo that will very likely make you sneeze if you overapply or spray close to your nose. At this stage it smells classic and has 80s soapy vibe. Fortunately over time bright citrus fades away and what remains is nice semi sweet fruity floral scent that lingers around and make you think about stars in the dark sky. This frag actually has longevity and projection. In fact, I get better longevity from this than I do with the reformulation of Joop Homme. This has surged to the top of my list of summer frags. It may not be groundbreaking but it's a sure bet. This won't offend anyone and is sure to please. I can't remember if it was before or after at least 5 Arab girls said hi to me in unison in Skyline College Sharjah.
