While we’ve played the game as intended a few times now, they have recently taken to simply playing with the pieces and making up little stories as they chase each other around the board. (Though it may be a cause of correlation vs causation, I think the versatility in adapting the premise of the original speaks to its strength. The Jurassic Park Little Golden Book also worked surprisingly well, for example.)
