Wes and Maeve met in secret majority of the time but I adored when she came to the final game in his jersey to support him šŸ’žšŸ’˜. It basically showed everyone that they needed to mind their business and she was going to love him despite the rivalry in the town, which was so unserious really. Why is her father, a grown adult holding some vendetta over a teenage boy? Liam, I understand but her father was so dramatic but Iā€™m glad that Wes talked to him at the end and called him out for not being at Maeveā€™s games šŸ„… āš½ļø. My girl deserved better, especially because sheā€™s so talented. I loved her so much, and sheā€™s extremely dedicated to the sport. Those reasons have never made sense, though, and theyā€™ve become sillier and sillier the more time Iā€™ve spent with Maeve.ā€ If my feelings for Maeve have taught me anything, itā€™s that sometimes you love the people you shouldnā€™t. Because I do. Love her. Even though there are a lot of reasons why I probably shouldnā€™t.

I've heard a lot of things about Weston Cole. Heā€™s popular. Conceited. Obnoxious. Most importantly, heā€™s spent the past three years steadily dismantling my familyā€™s football legacy. I should hate him. And I did. Until I encountered him freshman year and discovered heā€™s also troubled. Captivating. Considerate. When our paths cross again senior year, that knowledge becomes even more dangerous than his suggestive smirk. Hating him was easy.BeforeI met him. This is an excellent novel for people who love to read because it has done an amazing job. The author expressed all the characters in a unique way that creates the impression that the reader is also part of the story and knows every detail of all the characters. This would truly be one of the most extraordinary novels. The author has shown great craftsmanship in the novel, this is extraordinary in every sense of the word, only the depth of this book is spectacular, not to mention the diversity and representation and quality of the writing and complex characters. Everything is simply outstanding. The author has shown the same level of skill in previous books such as.Her success was so overly looked, she won, she played she was involved and they overlooked her like she was nothing. And it pained me, that the world saw her or her family name not of her own achievements. Money buys power, and power always has a price. The fear of those who already possess both? Losing it. The best way to ensure keeping it? Alliances. And elites donā€™t marry downā€”they marry equal.

This was such a fun YA romance about two high school rivals that fall in love against all odds. I didnā€™t love the miscommunication/ third act break up, but then I had to remind myself that the MCs are in high school and what happened can be quite realistic. I also wished for some more development with the side characters! Still, I do recommend this and really enjoyed the book on audio! Iā€™ve heard a lot of things about Weston Cole. Popular. Conceited. Supercilious. Heā€™s spent the last three years steadily dismantling my familyā€™s legacy. I should hate him. And I did. Until I encountered him freshman year and discovered heā€™s also troubled. Captivating. Audacious. And when I come across him again senior year, it turns out that knowledge is even more dangerous than his suggestive smirkā€¦ C. W. Charlotte lives in Rhode Island and when she isn't writing spends her free time reading, at the beach, or snuggling with her Australian Shepard. I love this book, but the ending???? It did not feel like the end. I was reading and thinking i still have a couple of chapters and then ā€žThe endā€œ??? WHAT!!!Maybe im just sad that I finished. It was a fast read which makes me even sadder. This book is exactly what i love to read and i wish there would be more to it.This book will be at the top of my list and I will be re-reading it.

I also had a lot of fun getting to know both characters' sets of friends. We don't spend loads of time with each group since our main characters are always sneaking away to see each other, but I appreciated the time we had with them. Before I met him. the fact maeve was also like well known and popular. usually in these type of books its like popular football boy and nerd girl. (I also enjoy that btw) but it was refreshing to see an actual match. Stars. I enjoyed this. I don't read a lot of YA anymore and there were a lot of situations in this book that reminded me why I don't, but despite that, I liked Wes and Maeve's relationship and there was a lot of cuteness.

Rival Love Series by C.W. Farnsworth - Goodreads

Little boy needed to grovel and grow tf up idc. Does he apologize? Eventually, but personally, it wasnā€™t enough after what he did and what he said. It was nicely shown - they shared some really cute moments together and Wes proved to be a real dear, despite his star stature as the imposing captain of the football team. Maeve is a girl also to be proud of - senior captain of the girls' soccer team, strong studious student, and also, the twin sister to the captain of her own school's football team. I empathized with Maeve's underlying fear and frustration and confusion of a supposed betrayal to her family by having feelings for Wes. šŸ’•šŸ’•Alex Kydd is a Tri-State Area-based actor specializing in contemporary and classical theater. Me ha gustado mucho a pesar de tener el tĆpico drama de insti. La relaciĆ³n entre ellos ha sido muy bonita, como han confiado el uno en el otro y como han luchado por dejar atrĆ”s la rivalidad entre ambas ciudades.I felt like Maeve deserved way more, from Wes and basically everyone else around her (her family, her friends, her classmates, etc.) Homegirl was a Mary Sue but she was the only character with some semblance of depth in this entire book. She was also, to me, the main pursuer of the relationship. I felt like she had more commitment and dedication to their relationship, while Wes was just: there.
