About this deal

Now believe me when I say this, this book is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, it's all about friendship, family, music and more. It will inspire you so much once you've read it and it's just amazing.

Delivered as a vlog, the sisters are excited to share their behind-the-scenes take of life on tour. But being on the road has its ups and downs! Sunset and Destiny get to know one another – as well as each other’s most irritating habits – and they also learn lots about themselves and by the end emerge closer than ever. Available from the 11th February on Sky Kids and streaming service NOW, this 4 x 22’ mini-series is adapted for screen by Nathan Bryon (co-creator and writer of Sky Max Bloods) and Jonny Wright, produced by Matt Tiller and directed by Ian Aryeh. Ian says:"It’s been a real joy to work with such an incredible cast and crew to bring Little Darlings to life.”Jacqueline is one of the nation’s favourite authors, and her books are loved and cherished by young readers not only in the UK but all over the world. She has sold millions of books and in the UK alone the total now stands at over 35 million!

Sunset was a wonderful sister to her siblings and it was sad to see her being the responsible one and trying to fix things. She deserved so much better.

Destiny's narration was very honest and you could clearly see how her mothers actions were affecting her. Families can talk about what Little Darlings: The Movie says about fame. Can you think of positives and negatives about being famous? My dad is Danny Killman. I suppose there wouldn't be any point telling people even if it wasn't a secret, because who would believe me?'

How does the movie explore the theme of family, and what are the different ways that family is portrayed?Sunset's character was fairly developed; it's clear how her mum's constant nagging affected her confidence and I enjoyed reading the passages where she retreated into 'Wardrobe City' and found comfort in her imagination, and later channelled this creativity into songwriting. Her parents intense arguments force her to step up and help take care of her two younger siblings, and she develops a sweet bond with the nanny Claudia which was a nice addition and good way of including an adult voice to condemn her parents' behaviour within the story.
