Players will start by customizing the look of their LOL Surprise doll by choosing from different skin tones, hairstyles, clothing, and accessories. From there, they can begin completing a series of story-based quests around a movie studio to become a famous actress (the game only allows players to play as a female doll). The LOL Surprise dolls also talk in “text message” speak, replacing words like “you” with “U” and “are” with “R.” This fits the LOL Surprise brand, but it may teach younger players to spell words incorrectly. LOL Surprise: Movie Night takes players to a movie studio, where they’ll become an up-and-coming actress. Players will need to play mini-games and complete quests to help their character achieve stardom. I don't care about LoL in general, but Arcane is among the most interesting series on Netflix in years. An absolute milestone in animation and art design, never seen anything like this. And these little projects also look like that LoL brandmanager did one amazing job in just controlling whats possible and who should do it. So its quite interesting to obserev what they're doing with that brand and how it keeps up over the next years.

UglyCasanova its a good idea if it works out. The way they are milking the LOL franchise now is ... suprisingly successful. I couldn't recall any other franchise that worked out that great at least with so little attempts. These are fun times for League of Legends fans, especially those with a love of the extended lore; for example today has brought both Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story to the eShop. The former is a turn-based RPG and the latter a rhythm runner from Choice Provisions, so there's certainly variety on offer.

These all look cool! After watching a bit of Arcane I'm glad there are now some games where I can actually play the lore and stories rather than read them outside the Moba. Between enlisting Airship Syndicate and Tequila Works I would say Tencent and the League teams are harnessing some of the best indie talent around In 2020, the music-themed Remix line of LOL Surprise toys hit store shelves, and a video game based on the toys — LOL Surprise Remix: We Rule the World— was released on Nintendo Switch. (The game allows kids to play mini-games and complete quests at a music festival with the goal of making it onto the music stage.) Begin by meeting your fellow stars and continue by playing through a variety of productions in the form of games and quests on your journey to reach the heights of stardom! Get that trophy, BB!
