When YaVe first launched, its initial goal was to create and bottle a blanco tequila. It would also serve as the base for the flavored tequilas to follow. “Once we achieved the perfect blanco, we were able to focus on the sabores (flavors),” says Cruz. “We macerate the mango separately and naturally infuse it with our blanco inside of stainless steel barrels.” To make a non-alcoholic version, swap the tequila for mango nectar and the triple sec for orange juice. There’s still a bit of a stigma around tequila – people think that they don’t like it. An espresso martini is a good introduction because the tequila is surrounded by familiar flavours. Ordinarily, an espresso martini contains vodka, but our version is a bit richer, with more caramel flavours.

It has been shown to be anti-carcinogenic, lower cholesterol, improve skin and eye health, normalize insulin levels, improve digestion and boost the immune system. Whether you choose to eat it or drink it, mango is a superfood! Curious to try some of what the growing flavored tequila market has to offer? Here are a few bottles to seek out, whether you love the hottest hot or dialed down tropical fruit. Next you divide it into four glasses and pour over ice, and top with your mango juice. Add a cherry and an umbrella for some finishing touches, and enjoy!

The family of creams with Tequila grows! The more tropical sister of strawberry cream is sweet on the palate with delicate acid nuances. Cut a notch in a lime wedge, then run the lime around the rim of a glass. Dip the edge of the rim into a plate of salt (or for a festive look, use our Margarita Salt). Feel free to reach out to us if you are interested in working with us for content creation and recipes. He also believes that being able to use fresh flavoring elements have, “helped us break down some barriers and shift mindset from skepticism to embracing our flavored tequilas.”

The advantage to using frozen mango in a mango margarita is: it shortcuts chopping the mango! It takes a little time to cut a mango, so it’s more convenient to grab a bag of frozen diced chunks. It also makes a nice creamy, frosty texture. Got a fresh mango on hand and want to use it? No problem! You can substitute it for the frozen mango here. It has the same result, it’s just not as frothy and ice cold. Agave syrup: Agave is often used as a sweetener with margaritas because it’s used to make tequila! It’s easy to find these days at most grocery stores. Add grenadine which will slowly sink to the bottom of the glass and garnish with an orange slice and cherry. Make it skinny by using fresh orange juice and a small amount of agave nectar instead of triple sec. Appearance: Creamy drink made from dairy products. Creamy appearance. Orange color with whitish nuances. This fine blanco tequila made with Blue Weber agave is infused with tropical mango flavours for a headline spirit presented in an eye-catching guitar-shaped bottle. Since then, the availability of and demand for flavored tequilas has grown. Naturally, this has encouraged more companies to get in on the action, particularly for the U.S. market. (Tequila drinkers in the spirit’s home country are typically more traditionalist about their agave spirits.) Inspiration for Flavors Mangoes: use frozen mango chunks to avoid diluting the drink with ice. If unavailable, cube fresh mangoes and freeze them beforehand.
