You might think the people best placed to ‘retain the diverse, fun and world-famous atmosphere of 414’ would be the very people who created it in the first place, but Hondo has made no offer to Tony or Louise. Hondo are currently looking for a new tenant that will be able to retain the diverse, fun and world-famous atmosphere of 414.

From DJs and live music performances to art, supper clubs, skate jams and day parties, panels, exhibitions and fashion shows… yep, the list goes on! Danclair’s is the newest opening from Brian Danclair, founder of much-loved Brixton Village stalwart Fish, Wings & Tings. Inspired by the hospitality of his grandmother Valentina, Danclair’s serves family dishes at a long sharing table in the centre of the restaurant, allowing for a convivial dining experience. The menu draws inspiration from across the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe, with dishes including BBQ pork ribs, empanadas with raisins and olives, and marinated grilled king prawns with tamarind sauce – alongside a weekend brunch. Popped in to the cafe for lunch, a good menu selection available catering for all needs. Service was fast and efficient. If you are hungry, then this is the place to go, the food is plentiful and at a very reasonable price. This cafe is...very popular especially with the locals, and as they say always go where the locals eat. read more.

The salty creaminess of the ice cream went really well with the surprisingly citrus flavoured honeycomb crisps. Brixton Market comprises a street market in the centre of Brixton, south London, and the adjacent covered market areas in nearby arcades Reliance Arcade, Market Row and Granville Arcade (recently [ when?] rebranded as 'Brixton Village').

The goat was really soft and didn’t have too many bones to discover. It had a spiciness that crept up on you so that a softee like me only had a runny nose three quarters of the way through. Brixton Village, Coldharbour Lane was built as Granville Arcade in 1937 to designs of Alfred and Vincent Burr; the developer was Philip Granville-Grossman. It was opened by actor Carl Brisson on 6 May 1937. It has an interior of narrow covered streets called 'Avenues', and is double-height, similar to Market Row. There are over 100 shops. It links Coldharbour Lane, Atlantic Road and Popes Road.
