Both Roo and Tigger were more than happy to sit down and enjoy the Milkshake! Stars DVD. Enjoying some firm favourites of Thomas & Friends, Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom alongside an introduction to some of the shows they hadn’t managed to see during our breakfast time viewing. When playing games in the meadow, Ben and Holly try and win by using their elf skills and fairy magic. Toby’s Travelling Circus – Parade The small boy loves Milkshake. He races downstairs every morning to catch up on the latest goings on with Peppa Pig and Thomas & Friends. He loves Fireman Sam too, he doesn’t have gender bias either, he’s equally as fond of them as he is of Angelina Ballerina and Little Princess, so this DVD is almost tailor made for him. Bert and Ernie are in Scotland, hoping to find the legendary Loch Ness Monster. Bananas in Pyjamas – The Submarine The DVD was full of 15 exciting episodes made up of the Milkshake Stars. Peppa Pig was a clear winner when it came to asking Maxwell what his favorite episode was on the DVD but Ben and Holly came a close second. As a parent I was also happy to watch the Milkshake! Stars DVD and I was happy to relive some of my childhood favorite TV programmes such as Thomas The Tank Engine and Fireman Sam. The DVD also included stars like Little Princess, Bert and Ernie, Bananas in Pyjamas and many more! As a mum I really like that this DVD includes mostof the Milkshake! characters rather than just the ones that some executive has thought would be great to feature on the DVD. I think that this makes the DVD more universal and will keep lots of children entertained, whether they select to watch just a couple of episodes or enjoy the full 190 minutes. From a parental perspective, there are few things more annoying than putting a series DVD on and hearing the same theme tune every ten minutes, with this DVD there’s a variety of programmes, so it’s considerably less full-on. Plus it’s nice to see him enjoy the programmes. We chatted about the content of some of the shows, and explored themes around what he’d seen. This week Maxwell was thrilled when the new Milkshake! Stars DVD dropped onto our doormat. His first reaction was to scream when he saw Peppa Pig and his second reaction was to get the DVD into our DVD player as soon as possible. Once the DVD was safely in the DVD player, Maxwell sat for around 2 hours enjoying everything the DVD had to give.All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
