Description
The unit automatically calculates whether you have enough money to pay a debt when you tap your Bank card. GET INTO TRADING SPACES: Land on a Forced Trade space? Choose any property and immediately trade it for your choice of any other player's property
Tap your Bank card to buy it. Board spaces show each property cost. The unit deducts the cost from your balance and, ka-ching, it's yours! You can use up to 3 turns to try for a double. If you don't throw a double by your third turn in Jail, pay M100 (see above) and use your last roll to move. For example, neighbors to Pentonville Road (no. 5) means Euston Road (no. 4) and Pall Mall (no. 6) - but only if they are owned! There is no trading in the game, but this space helps you collect color sets (if you use it wisely). If you look around the board, you'll recognize the property names from the classic game of MONOPOLY, but there are no Chance or Community Chest spaces. Instead there are Event and Location spaces. Any player can bid - including the player who originally landed on the space. Remember, do not bid in auctions if you are in Jail!
Roll a double on your next turn. If you do, you're free! Use the roll to move and complete the action of that space, but that's the end of your turn. Before you make a deal, decide whether or not it will be advantageous to you in the future. Always ask yourself, what will this do for me in the long run, and how will this trade help me bankrupt my opponents? A key element of UK competition policy is that any merger which leads to the creation of a firm with more than 25% of market share will automatically get referred to the competition commission. The competition commission will then evaluate whether the merger is in the public interest. The problem is that the banking sector is not very contestable. New entry into the market is difficult – especially in the current climate. Note: If a player goes bankrupt to another player, any debt not paid by that player is made up by the Bank and included in the final wealth sum. Sixteen Chance cards. The odds are high that a chance card will move you to another place, since ten out of sixteen chance cards require you to do so. Additionally, there are two rewards cards which give you money, two penalty cards which take money away, a card that takes away money from building owners and one get out of jail free card.
