As it happens I won’t be going ahead with any surgery as the surgeons advised against it. It was encouraging to hear the surgeon’s professional views and opinions around what I wanted done, resulting in being advised to not go ahead with surgery. It was good to see MYA’s practice has the patient’s wellbeing at the heart of what they do and the ethical considerations playing a large part of the surgeon’s advised outcome.
