About this deal

An outrider from the Special Escort Group swept into Scotland Yard, closely followed by a green Jaguar and an unmarked Land Rover, while two police motorcycles brought up the rear, completing the royal convoy. London 1988, and the nation has fallen under the spell of ‘the peoples princess’ HRH Diana, Princess of Wales! This is a fast, entertaining, engrossing read. Most of the characters have a certain charm, even some of the crooks! While there are different stories woven throughout, I never felt confused or lost. DISCLOSURE: Thank you to Harper Collins UK, Harper Fiction, via Netgalley for providing a digital ARC of Next in Line for review. All opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own personal opinions. The two storylines are clever with many twists and turns, making for a fascinating and gripping read. Archer is adept at pulling many threads together to produce a satisfying conclusion, and it goes without saying that the research involved is exceptional. A terrific read!

Thank you, Sir Peter,’ she replied as they shook hands. ‘It was kind of you to agree to my unusual request.’ The Princess waved to the crowd from her car, and they all responded except for Ross, who was still smiling at her ladyin-waiting.The book tells the testimonies of guys born worlds apart. They don’t have anything in common besides the same date of birth and an eagerness to reach life. William Lowell Kane is a rich and effective elite magnificence, whilst Abel Rosnovski is a pole who was born in a scenario of wonderful poverty and finally migrated to the United States. MY THOUGHTS: Archer has crafted yet another cunning plot, with three interwoven threads; one involving a threat to HRH the Princess of Wales. Miles Faulkner and his dodgy legal representative Booth-Watson make a reappearance, as does Faulkner's estranged wife Christine. James, who we met in Over My Dead Body, also reappears, and I believe he will also be featuring in Book #6. Very excited for the next book in this series. If you haven't read any or many of Archers' books, start at the beginning of the series, so you don't miss out. so many treats in store for you.

Yes, ma’am,’ said William, remembering that the Hawk had told him that ‘ma’am’ had to rhyme with ‘spam’, not ‘harm’. At some point, he rebelled against some of his own party’s policies such as when he championed for free television licenses for the elderly citizens and when he was against the practice of imposing museum charges. Thanks to his political downsides, he later served time at Belmarsh and Wayland prisons. Series of books by Jeffrey Archer After an intense training course into etiquette etc Ross is ready to take charge. Although he has a roving eye on her lady in waiting it is a no, no. EXCERPT: An outrider from the Special Forces Group swept into Scotland Yard, closely followed by a green Jaguar and an unmarked Land Rover, while two police motorcycles brought up the rear, completing the royal convoy. Great stories have in them an essence of being timeless. They capture the important moments of life vividly and immortalize them. Such are the stories that take the reader through time-travel into the past or the future. The reader is able to re-live the story in his mind simply because a book has captured the life out of the story. Books like these could only be written by a sterling author. Jeffrey Archer is one such author manifesting literary greatness in himself. Being such a celebrated author, he has come to woo readers with his flair for writing novels and short stories. Biography of Jeffrey ArcherThe Lady Victoria told me that the Princess’s close protection officer is retiring at the end of the year, and they haven’t found a replacement yet. So, I was hoping you might put in a good word for me.’ William had his script well prepared, but was immediately thrown off course by HRH’s first question.

During this period he also began his political career. Between 1967 and 1970, he served as a Councillor in the Greater London Council. He went on to become Member of Parliament for the constituency of Louth under the Conservative Party. He had an eventful political career amidst allegations of fraud and much apprehension at his ability to be a leader. The fact she disobeyed you probably means she’ll be the most interesting person I’ll meet today,’ whispered Diana as the lift doors closed. ‘Why did you call her Artemisia?’ He was a Member of Parliament and deputy chairman of the Conservative Party, and became a life peer in 1992. His political career, having suffered several controversies, ended after a conviction for perverting the course of justice and his subsequent imprisonment. He is married to Mary Archer, a scientist specialising in solar power. Outside politics, he is a novelist, playwright and short story writer. He has a way to introduce A Twist in the Tale ( no pun intended), but have always found his books fast paced having-meticulously planned plots, that hardly seems unreal.Jeffrey Archer, also known as Jeffrey Howard Archer, Baron Archer of Weston – super – Mare was born on April 15 th, 1940, in Holloway in City of London Maternity Hospital, London, England. His family moved to Somerset two weeks after birth, settling in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare. He achieved this after three years of training offered by Brasenose College, Oxford. However, this academic feat was not without claims that he was actually never registered as an undergraduate student in this College. Despite such claims, he thrived in the field of athletics competing for his school and later on for England as well as Great Britain. Mr Archer’s life was not short of controversies and much speculation. During his time at Brasenose College, he received much criticism on his financial state of affairs.
