Since discovering this author last month, I've been hooked on her stories. Each book is better than the last. Her team have done a phenomenal job!

She is one of my favorite authors for so many reasons and One Moment Please did not disappoint (especially since I’m not a huge fan of the surprise pregnancy trope!). Most 8 year old girls start acting like pre-pre-teens thanks to socialization at school, paydates with friends and just general growing up. Even if shy, the hiding behind people stage and saying "I'm not widdle, I'm a big girl" is pretty much over.

And it just felt like sex was used as a crutch in the book. This is a romance and there was no real romance. I mean, lots of steam if that's what you're into... but I want to fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other. I just didn't feel love. The love seemed forced at the last second to wrap up thy HEA. One Moment Please released at just the right time when I needed to escape into a book that made me laugh while also making me feel and gave me the sweetest happily ever after. There's truth in fiction, but sometimes you have to suspend disbelief. One Moment Please was a great love story of loss, anguish, jealousy, attraction, and a slew of other emotions.

Of course Daw wouldn’t give us just a simple (and boring) reason like the condom broke or they forgot to use protection.
