When he said she wasn't allowed to do that anymore (as Hunters can't become attached to males), she says she was merely honoring a friend. After the victory, Percy gathered to discuss Gaea with the seven and the gods. He complained about his nosebleed that woke Gaea, but Athena told him to not blame himself. He also explained to Leo that Gaea can pop up wherever she wants.
