Groundhog Day musical: Tim Minchin to write lyrics with Matilda collaborators also attached". The Independent. 6 April 2015. Archived from the original on 2022-05-25 . Retrieved 16 May 2015. Matilda The Musical is the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the beloved book by the incomparable Roald Dahl. He learns this lesson the hard way, and becomes a much more likeable character afterward, which, I'm assuming was one of the main intents of his character arc. A lot of times this transition from an unlikeable to likeable character doesn't really work for me, because authors tend to half-ass it. Chant pulls this off perfectly. By the end, I loved his character with my whole heart. Girl in the Moon: a girl who is responsible for bringing the night by replacing the sun that appears during the day with the moon at the normal time Peter I just thought of something" Ned said, his tone suggested that he made the biggest revelation of the century.

A beautiful retelling of Peter Pan with the added complexity of adulthood, running away from one's family, and being vulnerable to oneself and others. It takes Neverland to a different level, making the story even more complex and interesting. Definitely recommended! Read more Matthew Warchus’s colourful riot of a production achieves an even dizzier balance between gleeful, grotesque, fun and heart-tugging poignancy, brilliantly drilled dynamism and warm, unforced charm.’ I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review, thank you to the author and Less Than Three Press for the opportunity! Cleo, Chloe and Zoe - three mermaids who live in Mermaid Lagoon. They don't make friends with anyone else and spend their time alone. The water in which they live is enchanted and would turn any who touch it evil. They care deeply about their home but have a great desire to rule all of Neverland The ending, on the other hand, was awesome. It's not a perfect ending, but it's still happy. Those are my favorite kind of endings.

You are extraordinarily dramatic," James said, "and no one should ever have given you power over the weather.” - favorite quote 😂. This is ME. Michael - the youngest in the family, who is often inattentive and naive and usually acts rashly, which can have dire consequences for everyone

Which way at Eagle Pass, Captain? called Samuel, Hook’s bosun since the retirement of old Smee. Samuel was walking ahead, where Hook could admire his arse. He'd known Ned since they were in grade school. They hit it off immediately with their common nerdy interests despite not being able to communicate as easily. Ned didn't know sign language and Peter was slow at writing, not to mention Peter didn't exactly have the greatest spelling or handwriting. Eventually after only a year of knowing Peter, Ned started learning ASL during that school summer. It was a surprise when Peter returned to school that next year and Ned greeted him in sign. They practically haven't stopped talking since. One night-raid saw over 4000 shells bombard the platoon’s position followed by Chinese soldiers fighting ‘like tigers’ until dawn. It was a dire situation but Stormonth Darling showed his mettle and led his men with authority and bravery. Of the experience he wrote, “it stretched to the limit whatever qualities of leadership I may have possessed”. Peter felt a little embarrassed but was also laughing to. Hearing the mechanical voice say that so nonchalantly was pretty funny. He wiped the milk off his face and stood up as he grabbed his phone. He shook his head at the two before grabbing his tray to take it to the trash. He was still grinning at the incident as he approached the trash can half way across the lunch room.

Penelope: an infant flower fairy who is unable to fly after her mother died. The other fairies have to leave her behind because otherwise they will all die. Peter and Wendy have to teach her how to fly Does the actual book live up to that premise? Sure, it was a very enjoyable and sweet little story. I liked the darker take on Neverland, both within the themes and the aesthetics. The depiction of the fairies was also very interesting; the author made them more insect-like rather than the tiny, pretty winged humans we often see. Now, was I completely happy with the whole story? Not really. I really liked the writing, but I thought a certain plot point was revealed too early and the intrigue fizzled out for me. I mean, it is not a spoiler for anybody that Neverland is a land of dreams, right? However what exactly is happening with *this* version of Neverland is a spoiler and I will treat it as such. For the first half of the story I felt like everything was hidden in the mist, like fairy dust was all over the story. Then the reality was revealed and I was just disappointed that it was revealed so early.
