You have to use the finger method and focus on the entire lenses with emphasis on the scratch, but not enough to distort. I got about 80% of the scratch out without any distortion. Just enough to be able to live with what was still visible. Either you or someone you know will have an old watch stored away, and there is a chance it could be worth some good money. the bigger question to me is why is the damn instrument plexi on 4-runners is so fragile that ONE (and I mean one!) single polish with a fiber cloth swirled it up the first week I bought it and polywatch has only helped about 80% -which isnt too bad but I'd really come to expect more from toyota.
