It is similar to the current one, but will have a scroll underneath which says: "150 years" and will also have "1872" and "2022" on either side of it.The club was founded by four young lads – Moses McNeil, Peter McNeil, William McBeath and Peter Campbell - who had a dream to start a football team whilst walking through West End Park (now known as Kelvingrove Park) in March 1872. Built on the vision of the four lads, the club still stands strong on the principles of the gallant pioneers.” Forever proud of our origins, it was important to launch a crest that upholds the Rangers values and details which are symbolic to the club. The ribbon which features below the crest design was influenced by the decorative crests from the club's earliest documented member books which feature an ornamental scroll ribbon. The ribbon design is synonymous with Ibrox where it features in the crests displayed on the side elevation of the iconic Bill Struth Main Stand.
