Now about the fragrance. It looks boring, but I'll give it a try. I'm admittedly not a fan of mainstream-geared fragrances, but I'm always open to surprised.

I’m curious about how you happened to review this, since you are not a big SJP fan, it’s nominally a feminine fragrance and it wasn’t exactly strewn in your path. Did you get a hot tip? Did Robin twist your arm? Or what, if you don’t mind saying. Fast forward to now, the holiday gift sets were on sale at Ulta, fragrance forums were abuzz with people falling in love with this all over again and I decided to give it a third go. No matter which perfume you choose, you can be sure to find a scent similar to SJP Stash Perfume that will suit your individual style. With the variety of fragrances available, you are sure to find one that will become your signature scent.

Stash SJP Privé is a composition intended for women, which reportedly interprets seduction and feminine charm through deep floral motifs, juicy fruits and oriental tones. Pink pepper is mixed with citruses and fruity tones of quince at the top leading to a floral heart of orange blossom and a woody-musky base. It is described as intoxicating, both classical and modern, a timeless symbol of grace, luxury and passion. |SJP Stash Perfume is a signature scent from actress Sarah Jessica Parker. The perfume has notes of sandalwood, bergamot, white pepper and amber that combine to create a warm and seductive aroma. If you are looking for a scent similar to SJP Stash Perfume, there are several options available. I love Sarah Jessica Parker. Have since Square Pegs. She's lovely, making Lovely an excellent name choice for her most famous fragrance. I love that my random remark has given you a way to use your oil. A couple of fragrant oil drops in the bath really change the whole experience for me too. My current favourite is a vintage Caron Bellodgia. It’s only 15 ml but with judicious drops I’ve eked it out over years and it’s still half full. Any more than a drop or two and it’s overwhelming. Not about the fragrance at all, but WHO let that photo through editing? She's never been attractive to me, but she looks like an elderly drag queen possessed by the Ice Princess.

Personally, I didn't find anything wrong with Sarah's photo, I didn't even look at it closely enough until I read these pathetic comments. She still looked fine to me. Human. Ageing is a natural process which we all will have to go through. Our features will deteriorate and most of us will fail to rescue that in photos.... Don't understand why people feel the need to comment on someone's looks just like that. The audacity of it makes me angry. I can't wait to try this. I finally warmed to Stash but still disappointed about the poor longevity. Stash is truly a unisex fragrance; it smells great on women and I think it would smell just as great on a man. I recommend applying it with a light hand, as it carries for quite a distance and has excellent staying power. Many commenters have noted before me that Stash can hold its own with many a niche fragrance that costs many times more. I hardly have any celebrity scents, and I never watched Sarah Jessica Parker’s TV hit series “Sex and the City”. I did, however, read Chandler Burr’s book The Perfect Scent, which followed in parallel the development of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil by Jean-Claude Ellena for Hermes, and Ms. Parker’s work with Coty to develop her first scent, Lovely. So I was aware of how seriously she takes her fragrances, and of the thought processes she shared with Mr. Burr. Unfortunately, that aggressive, high contrast "beauty" lighting and noticeable retouching undermine the self-affirming confidence of her brand. Going forward, a gentler hand in these departments would serve her better. Its a shame as SJP does seem to really care about launching good scents, and oversees the whole process, its sad that the UK public are not getting a chance to see her efforts in stores.
