Sunny makes a big appearance where all her friends are shown fighting, with it being revealed that she along with Ruby and Poppy got to see Ainsley's new designs, while the rest of the girls didn't. After some time they all seem to make up, except for Violet, who reveals she thinks Sunny resents her. Violet then storms off and Sunny follower her, even finding her trying to chop her hair off. Sunny finally gets Violet to talk, where she admits how guilty she was for lying to her, with Sunny explaining how many friends they've made. After this, they both make up and are on much better terms. Bella's runway show design made by Skyler in “ Amaya's Discovery” is inspired by Ariana Grande wearing Giambattista Valli at the 2020 Grammys.

Sunny is seen at the beginning of the episode with Luna introducing the competition, before introducing Maria and leaving. Later on, Sunny appears again with Luna and help judge the team's final outfit, with them revealing they'll be voting a teammate out. After Dia leaves, Sunny exclaims about all the drama before concluding the episode. January 8th, 2021: Bella makes her last appearance as a member of the runway group in " Enter Amaya".

Sunny enters her dorm looking for Skyler, accidentally waking her up in a panic. After realizing it was just her, she starts telling Sunny about the ghost she thought she saw. She tells her everything, ending in how Poppy was taken by said ghost, with her coming in the room and revealing The Assistant was behind all of it. Knowing this, she joins Skyler as she gets revenge on the twins, cheering Skyler on. Just like Poppy, Sunny is close with Skyler due to the three of them being roommates. The two are frequently seen together and enjoy each other's company, with Skylar helping cheer Sunny up on her first day of school.

Continuing from the previous episode, Sunny and the rest of her friends are shown frantically preparing for the runway show, with Sunny helping with sewing. She is seen cheering for The Royal Three and Stella, being the only one to seemingly like Stella's performance of " I've Got the Tea", with everyone else looking confused.December 6th, 2020: Skyler's cheer doll is released, being spotted at Walmart in the United States and Canada. Laura Stahl is an American voice actress, and is the voice actress for Sunny Madison, Avery Styles, and Luna Madison. Cheerleader Squad, or simply Cheer, is the second Rainbow High doll line released on January 1st, 2021, featuring the main Series 1 dolls in cheerleader attire. It precedes Series 2 as a doll line of which features the 6 more Rainbow High students. Sunny is shown with the rest of girls where she finds out that she might be able to be featured in The SCENE. Being excited by this, she happily gets interviewed by Krystal. When being interviewed she talks about Hi Hi Kawaii, her show about friendship, love, joy, and real life. Despite this grand interview, it is revealed that Ruby had won and is now featured on the cover, with Poppy congratulating her.

Due to Skyler's timid nature, she greatly clashes with Gabriella's large ego and snarky personality, despite having a similar major. Shadow High: These characters received dolls and character bios but also aren't part of the main school Rainbow High, but go to their neighboring rival school Shadow High. December 8th, 2020: Rainbow High officially announces the Cheer Line updating it to include the Cheer Dolls as a part of the collection.
