About this deal

I have lied, so I know a good liar when I see one as I've done that before. I’ll know who’s lying because I've said the exact same things and I'll be able to spot the exact same traits. I need to remember not to land myself in it when I'm trying to catch other people out. I need to focus on my concentration. If you are a Faithful, what qualities do you think you have that will get you through to the final? I’m quite driven for the things I want. I'd like to win very much, and I don't mind banishing people at all. Although if I don't win, it’s not the end of the world. I think I've got to live the experience to the max and with the maximum of my ability. Willix, Pierra (15 July 2023). As far as I can, I will do anything realistically to get in the final group. Lie, manipulate, convince people and point the finger elsewhere to try and navigate the group and put the pressure on other people, and hopefully that will get me through to the end.Following the premise of other versions of De Verraders, the show features a group of contestants participating in a game similar to the party game Mafia as they stay in a historic luxury hotel. During their stay, a small group of contestants become the titular "Traitors," and must work together to eliminate the other contestants to win a grand prize, while the remaining contestants become "Faithful" and are tasked to discover and banish the Traitors by voting them out, to win the grand prize. Oh, the helicopter! Jumping out of a helicopter and watching all the crew members on the shore and just thinking WHAT AM I DOING?! And then thinking that camera is filming my double chin!! I’ll bring some lightness and I'll bring some humour, I’m hoping to otherwise I'm definitely on the wrong career path! I’m hoping to surprise people. I’ll be so involved, I'm not going to play it half-heartedly, I want to get as far as I possibly can. Maddy says: "I absolutely love crime dramas so when I heard about this show I was really interested and thought oh my god, I could definitely give it a bash. A lot of people think I'm quite ditsy and silly. I want to show people I'm more with it and not to judge me straight away."

Amos says: "When I heard the concept, I thought it sounded pretty cool. The fact that it was quite psychological and involved some thinking and strategy, interested me. Also, to explore how good I am at reading people and making judgments about their character and intentions based on very little information, I wanted to test that. I’d worked as a doctor for three years through the pandemic on the frontline and wanted to do something that was slightly different, something for myself." Knox, David (10 August 2023). Theo says: "I applied to push myself out of my comfort zone. It was the concept for the game that got me interested and the fear of the unknown. I've always liked to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new things. I'm a coach by day so I always like to lead by example and show people that anything's possible when you work hard and push yourself to strive to achieve greatness. My game plan is to be myself and let people fall in love with me. To get people to do their best and to help them believe in themselves. I always like to be that strong character and tell people they can do it and make them believe. I’d definitely like to motivate others to help them succeed, that's my game plan." My friends and I always joke that I'm very suspicious of people, I always feel like someone has a hidden agenda and a hidden motive. Everyone has hidden motives, but the truth is this show is a heightened version of this, a heightened version of all our senses. Especially when there's money at stake. I'm prepared to do what's necessary. It's a game at the end of the day and as long as it comes across in the right manner and people remember that, then there's nothing vindictive about it. There will be twists and turns and they're going to be quite horrific but if it's done in the right manner, I think there's no problem. There's a lot I would do to keep a secret and go through to the end, but always bearing in mind that it is a game.Knox, David (19 August 2023). "Rodger Corser on Traitors, Thai Cave Rescue and his next move". TV Tonight. TV Tonight . Retrieved 12 August 2023. I envisage you have a slight advantage at the beginning as a Traitor but you'd have a disadvantage as the game goes on. It's literally 50/50. The Traitors have more of an acting role and I don't mind that, I'm fully tuned in for both sides. My poker face is the best. It can look worried or concerned, not severe, not powerful. I would like to be a Traitor but I’ve realised that probably so does everybody else.

In the United Kingdom, the show was broadcast in July 2023 by the BBC, the broadcaster of the British version, premiering on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on 9 July 2023. [39] [40]Following Lewis' Banishment, the Final 3 participated in the end game and were given a choice to either Vote or Share – The Vote option would result in another Banishment Vote, while the Share would either – 1) declare all remaining Traitors as winners, or 2) Should there be no Traitors remaining, declare all remaining players as Winning Faithfuls. In either outcome, the prize would be shared among the winners. I think this is where the analytical problem-solving skills that I want to translate into social science will come in. Breaking people down by inaccuracies, asking them a question in different ways and seeing if I get a different response. Trying to find any inaccuracies relative to what other people have said and cross referencing, like how a barrister would do. That will be my main go-to plan and also telling the truth, that's completely easy. I have been raising money for bionic hand control by thought and the fact that there is a substantial amount of money up for grabs, that would enable me to get the treatment that I need to get another hand. I had a severe nearly fatal car crash at the age of 22. My son was only four years old and I've had to be strong, I've had someone that's dependent on me. I've had to permanently change the way my life is and the way I do things and also be a role model to my son. I love to challenge myself, I really like pushing my boundaries and just getting out there. This is something that I would never usually do, I don't have any experience with TV shows, so I wanted to give this a shot. When I started reading up about the show and what to expect I thought ‘Hold on, this is actually something that I think I'd be very good at and have a chance of winning.’
