About this deal

In March 2022, the album established the all-time record for longest duration in the number one spot (97 weeks) on Billboard 's Country Albums chart. The best live albums capture the very essence of a band’s energy in concert and manage to make a listener feel like they were actually there for what, in many cases, are historic performances. Because it’s one thing creating magic in the studio. Doing it live is something else, adding a whole new level of excitement (and, often, creativity) to the music. I have a copy bought new in about 1974, the Matrix/Runout on my copy has etched in "WHO S1", "WHO S2", "WHO S3" and "WHO S4" and nothing else. This Matrx/Runout is not listed elsewhere. One of the most extraordinary albums of any era, The Who Sell Out is The Who’s last ‘pop’ album. Two years later came Tommy – a double concept album about a deaf, dumb and blind kid. Bernstein, Jonathan (January 8, 2021). "Morgan Wallen Is a Versatile Nashville Cliche Machine on 'Dangerous: The Double Album' ". Rolling Stone.

Dangerous: The Double Album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and US Top Country Albums charts, earning 265,000 album-equivalent units (including 74,000 copies as pure album sales) in its first week, according to MRC Data. [5] This became Wallen's first US number one debut and his second on the latter. [5] The album also accumulated a total of 240.18 million on-demand streams, becoming the largest streaming week ever for a country album at the time. [5] This more than doubles the record set by Luke Combs' What You See Is What You Get. [5] In its second week, the album remained at number one on the chart, earning an additional 159,000 units making it the first country album to spend two weeks at number one since Chris Stapleton's Traveller in 2015 and the first country set to spend its first two weeks at number one since Luke Bryan's 2015 album Kill the Lights. [18] In its third week, the album remained at number one on the chart, earning 130,000 more units. [19] In its fourth week, the album remained at number one on the chart, earning 149,000 units. [20] It received a 14 percent increase from the previous week, despite the nationwide removal of Wallen's music throughout radio stations in the United States following his use of a racial slur outside of his Nashville home on February 2, 2021. [20] It concurrently became the first country album to spend its first four weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart since Shania Twain's Up! did so in January 2003. [20] In addition, it later extended its run with a fifth and sixth week at the top, [21] marking the longest run atop the charts for a country album since Garth Brooks' The Chase in 1992. [22] The album eventually spent a total of ten weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 and ended up becoming the best selling album for the first half of 2021. [23] [24] As of September 2021, the album has earned 2,539,000 album-equivalent units and has sold 267,000 copies in the United States. [25] D2C 2LP Deluxe (mono) vinyl version featuring the original album and extras highlights from the box set pressed on coloured vinyl; LP1 Odorono Red / LP2 Baked Beans Orange.

Sometimes a great live concert is all about atmosphere – and there was plenty of that when folk duo Simon & Garfunkel reunited for their first live album, recorded in front of more than half a million people on the Great Lawn in Central Park, New York City, in September 1981. Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon were singing as well as ever, the between-songs riffs were light-hearted and uplifting – and occasionally spikey. The troubled former friends – reuniting for the first time in more than a decade – performed superb on-stage versions of some of the most indelible songs in modern popular music, including “Mrs Robinson,” “Homeward Bound,” “America,” “Still Crazy After All These Years,” “The Boxer,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “The Sound of Silence.” The duo’s marvellous vocal harmonies and compelling songs made for a truly memorable evening of music. 23: U2: Under A Blood Red Sky (1983) The Hypertext Who› History of The Who› 1980–1983".
