The Transcend DrivePro 200 is a good buy if you want WiFi. If WiFi is not important, consider a smaller, more discreet camera. Not very handy since I tweaked some settings and its very hard to find a recording when all recordings are date stampt 00-00-2000 or something similair. We accidentally sent a push message while testing DrivePro mobile app, we will avoid this situation in the future. As soon as you turn it on it will start recording, and create a new video file every minute (about 110MB). You can change this to 3 or 5 minutes in the menu. By default, the time stamp will be included on your video, but you can disable this along with audio recording. The screen turns off after a minute so as not to distract you while you’re driving, but you can configure this in the menu.Day/Night Recording:The Transcend DrivePro 200 dash cam has a large F2.0 aperture combined with its 1080p resolution deliver high-quality video that automatically adjusts to changing light conditions. Now (besides some scratches) it is even better then before because also after a couple of days it still has its memory! w0000t! Mine were poor from the beginning. If you left your car off for a couple of days, then everything would reset. I have today, upgraded it to v1.26, in hope that it will solve this issue, has anyone else had a problem with the unit resetting constantly?

Day and nighttime recording modes are not automated.Although the video quality is excellent in both day and nighttime driving conditions, users have to manually switch between day and nighttime recording modes. I bought the Dashcam 2 years ago and it was almost as it knew it was past warranty because it began to mallfunction.Date and time settings are not saved.We found the date and time settings need to be set every time the camera is turned on.
