About this deal

The model is waterproof and comes with the IPX7 rating. Now, you can place the Bluetooth speaker beside the swimming pool and enjoy the music depending on your need. Not to mention, you do not have to be concerned about the weather conditions. Clean the micro USB port on the speaker as there might be dust and dirt present in the speaker’s charging port. Solution 3: Factory reset your Tribit MaxSound Plus Regardless, the output here is well above average and even at the highest volumes the speaker somehow doesn’t manage to sound overwhelming even in small quarters.

The MaxSound Plus adds a bass boost button (right). It also has speakerphone functionality. Sarah Tew/CNET Along the top of the unit are the usual controls for power, Bluetooth pairing, play/pause and volume adjustment. There’s also a useful chord lanyard to slip over your wrist when holding it – a good idea since dropping it on your toe could be painful. In the past five years, we've tested more than 50 of the best Bluetooth speakers. In this review, we compare 10 of the most compelling models currently on the market. To test these speakers, we listened to each side-by-side for more than a hundred hours, took them to the beach, brought them to campfires, traveled with them, and pushed their batteries to the limit. We also consulted with a professional audio engineer to ensure our sound quality tests were up to snuff. The resulting recommendations cover the entire range of portable speakers, from larger models that emphasize sound quality to smaller waterproof devices that can take a beating, and everything in between. Listening to music or other audio effectively has two modes with the MaxSound Plus Bluetooth speaker and either of those excels at what it seems designed to do. There’s no NFC pairing like there is on the Soundcore Boost. A single press of the power button also turns the unit off.You can make use of the aux cable that needs to open the flap. Since it is waterproof, you can notice a mesh present around the model. The design of the Bluetooth speaker is simply top-notch.

The speaker is little but still sounds amazing, this one is nice and this thing puts out sound like it’s angry at somebody this thing came loud and hard. This speaker has a great form factor, you will like the bottle type of form factor that way you can just slam this speaker in your bike and just go. Also, you have your base radiators right on both sides but then flanking those instead of having both drivers coming from the front or from one side you got one driver on one side and another driver on the side in the middle so that is kind of 360 sound because it’s coming left or right. So, it’s almost like a stereo. It gives full blast with the X-bass off. When you will play music while keeping the x-bass on and when you will turn up full blast, you will notice a very slight enhancement of the bass like a very slight with the X bass on and that too at full volume and it still has that nice of a sound.Bluetooth 4.2 — with support for A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP profiles — or auxiliary input are available for seamless connectivity. Keys arranged along the top of the MaxSound Plus from Tribit include a power, Bluetooth, Play/Pause, Volume controls, and XBass buttons. The power and XBass buttons have dedicated LEDs. For the former, that indicates charging, power state, and connectivity status while the latter indicates whether extra bass from the passive radiators has been activated. The power LED shows three distinct colors for easy information at a glance.

None of that takes away from the overall balance of the audio either. Although XBass definitely brings bass forward, other tones still push through as clearly as they should — thanks in large part to the speaker’s near-matching of frequencies audible to the average human ear. Distortion is kept completely non-existent even in the most intensive songs at the highest volume possible. The well-designed Tribit MaxSound Plus is an excellent value and a strong contender in its mini Bluetooth speaker price… Completely Waterproof: Pool parties, a day at the beach, and even submersion – This Bluetooth Speaker can handle it all. Advanced IPX7 waterproofing keeps the music flowing rain or shine, and can withstand up to 30 minutes in water 3 feet deep. It’s not the most feature rich speaker I’ve tested. You can’t use it as a USB power bank, you can only pair to one device at a time, there’s no support for stereo pairing, charging is quite slow, there’s no NFC or aptX support, and it still has only micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.2.

The Bluetooth speaker market is gaining prominence. It is not surprising to note that the demand for speakers has immensely increased over the last few years. Probably, it has to do with the fact that users appreciate the usage of these models.

It is next to the play button for making calls, and you can also use Google Siri on a paired device through it. Isn’t it amazing? Like the Stormbox model, this unit takes 4 hours to charge. But you can use it for 20 hours. Though the sound quality is almost the same on both the Bluetooth speakers, you can find some qualities that are lagging in the Maxsound. This aspect is a normal thing in all products. There are pros & cons of the product. For its size, the Tribit MaxSound Plus is one of the best sounding Bluetooth speakers I’ve tested. It even holds its own against more expensive options. Together with its IPX7 waterproof rating, size and battery life, it’d make a great travel speaker if you’re happy with the weight. The speaker has Bluetooth 4.2, not the more recent 5.0 standard, but range was still decent reaching the next room of the house around 10 metres away and was comparable with the SoundCore Boost and just slightly less than the Flip 4. I found the connection reliable, with no dropouts in my testing. For its size, the Tribit MaxSound Plus is one of the best sounding Bluetooth speakers I’ve tested. It even holds its own against more expensive options. Together with its IPX7 waterproof rating, size and battery life, it’d make a great travel… Tribit App is a set of mobile terminal operating software based on Bluetooth audio equipment, providing systematic, data-based and intelligent services.
