Lenovo is one of the best laptop brands you can buy from at the moment. While the Lenovo 14w Gen 2 AMD certainly isn't pushing the boundaries with performance speeds, it's functional. It has an AMD 3015e processor along with 4GB of memory so it's pretty slow but will at least run Windows 11 Pro. We are, however, pleased to see that there's 128GB of SSD storage. Many laptops in this price range use eMMC storage which is much slower so it's good to see something a little speedier here. My 13-inch MacBook Pro 2020 went from 1% to 48% in 30 minutes using the Ugreen charger. This is slightly more than what I got using the standard 61W charger supplied with the MacBook. Notably, the 13-inch MacBook Pro can only receive a charge at a maximum rate of 61W (you can find out your MacBook’s maximum supported power input on the bottom case near the display hinge). Therefore, the Ugreen charger’s full capability could not be utilized. The Ugreen 100W GaN Fast Charger is an excellent charger, especially if you have a lot of gadgets and want to charge them all at once. Not only does it save space because it can charge four devices at once, but it also enables fast charging, and it only requires one wall outlet. It's also easy to carry on the bag with its foldable plug, and it can replace all of your other chargers. Other than that, both models are functionally identical and feature a built-in "Power-X" power delivery system that can intelligently adjust the power output to protect a device's battery. Essentially, the power distribution system allows the charger to adjust the power provided to each port based on what's plugged in. The top two ports are capable of delivering a maximum of 100W, while the third is capable of up to 22.5W, and the bottom USB-A port offers 22.5W.

Ugreen tells me that the 100W GaN charger can be plugged in 10,000 times and even contends that this is higher than the industry standard. That many charging cycles means you can easily use it for a decade, and by then, there will be a better technology that will replace it. Should you buy it? GaN-based semiconductors require much smaller space to deliver the same power as silicon. This is why a standard silicon chip can be replaced with a GaN chip that is much smaller in size. As a result, GaN chargers are relatively smaller than standard chargers while being more efficient and delivering more power.
