This bottling of Vecchia Romagna Etichetta Nera brandy was made with Trebbiano grapes in the French "Charentais" style sometime in the 1960s and it's in remarkable condition. Vecchia Romagna Classica is produced through selection of the best grapes, the continuous distillation process and aging in fine oak barrels. This combination allows us to obtain a brandy with a fresh, subtle flavour. In 1820, maestrul distilator Jean Bouton a deschis o fabrica experimentala de bauturi spirtoase, care a dus la crearea coniacului Vecchia Romagna. Jean Bouton era descendent al unei familii de mesteri ai bauturilor franceze si furnizor oficial la Curtea lui Napoleon. Odata cu prabusirea Imperiului Napoleonic, a decis sa deschida o distilerie in Bologna, vechiul oras italian, unde a gasit un teritoriu asemanator regiunii Charente, tara Cognacului.
