Supposing for one more minute that you could put this guitar together yourself, it probably would at least match the quality of a genuine Yamaha. The action straight out of the box is a bit high and I found it a bit hard to play barre chords. I had to set mine up again by sanding the saddle until its height felt comfortable. If you can’t do this yourself then it’s a good idea to ask the shop or a guitar tech to do it for you – there will probably be a small charge involved but it’s well worth it. So there you have it! Is the guitar perfect? No, not quite, but it certainly does manage to get a lot of things right. If you’re even a moderately-experienced guitarist, you can probably skip over this model, unless you want one just for practice or to take to the campfire. The F335 guitar is meant for beginners, mainly because of its price. There were a few things that we didn’t like. The biggest problem are the materials from which it is made. Most of the guitar is made of laminate. This means that it will have a relatively thin sound profile.

This is one of the most useful tips I give to acoustic guitar buyers: Don’t expect to get a “right-out-of-the-box” acoustic guitar if you’re paying cheap. Yes, some may say that they’re outstandingly amazed by how their guitar perfectly arrived “right-out-of-the-box” but in my opinion, every guitar in the cheap price range needs a little bit of setup. The Epiphone DR-100 – now called the Songmaker DR-100 – has long been a staple of guitar stores worldwide for years, offering wannabe guitarists an affordable entry point into the bright world of acoustic guitars. A lot like the Yamaha above, the Epiphone is a large-bodied Dreadnought that, despite its minuscule price tag, delivers a fantastic tone. The rosewood fingerboard has 14 accessible frets. There are 20 frets total, but since this isn’t a cutaway, you really can’t do much with the top 6 or so.The main qualities that are pointed out indicate that it has a rather pleasant feel, that it is very fun to play, decent consistency, and that it stays in tune. One of the best, however, is the price which is affordable by almost anyone. You can trust Guitar World Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing guitar products so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test. Still, there were a few problems that we don’t love to see. The biggest issue is the materials that it is made of. The vast majority of the guitar is made of laminate. This means that it is going to feature a relatively thin sound profile. Has the label of being a beginner’s guitar. If you’re an intermediate or advanced player, I would not suggest this guitar to you. The Yamaha F335 Acoustic Guitar brings durability and affordability to you, and it sounds surprisingly good considering the price tag. Yamaha has made quality instruments for more than half a century, and the F335 just proves that even budget instruments can be well built.

The bridge is made from rosewood and the saddle and nut is urea. Urea is a good addition, as it sounds better out-of-the-box than other materials I have tried. Its spruce top is durable, however its meranti sides feel a little less so. Technically, meranti is a hardwood, but it’s arguably the softest and most malleable. That’s not the best thing in the world for building an instrument that tends to take a bit of a pounding from time to time. FS100C menawarkan kualitas, desain dan suara seperti semua alat musik akustik Yamaha, dalam paket harga yang sangat terjangkau. The F335 lives up to Yamaha’s reputation for building good quality budget acoustic guitars. However, a couple of minor playability issues mean beginners maybe have better options available to them. Reza performing with his Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar. Rating On paper, the Yamaha FG335 may seem like your regular starter guitar. But on closer inspection, you’ll find that it isn’t only budget-friendly but also an impressive option for intermediate players. Despite the laminated woods, the Yamaha FG335 sounds clear and bright - a good quality guitar at an affordable price.

The quality of Yamaha F335 is, however, debated. Most of the skilled guitar players describe it as a toy-like instrument for children, or as a “guitar with decent feel, but an unacceptable quality of audio and sustain”. It looks good, it plays good and it’s a great way for people to get good at the guitar. Experienced users may want to look for something with a richer sound profile. Other than that, it’s a really great guitar at a very fair price.

Other than that, it’s a good guitar that most beginners will appreciate. Many intermediate players will find it perfectly adequate as well. Let’s first take a look at the acoustic guitars build and material, and one thing we’ll notice off the bat is its dreadnought body style. What this means is the overall “body shape” is one of the most common out there (it’s actually named after a British battleship). It’s known to accompany vocals very well, and the slightly round shape of it gives us super bright, vibrant and (in our opinion) beautiful tones. It’s also quite easy to hold which is one of the reasons we feel is best for beginners. The vocal accompaniment also helps us for the future in case you’d like to sing yourself, perhaps get some friends together to join a band or strum around a fire at your next camping trip. We love the FA-100’s overall build and versatility for different guitar playing styles. The G Series brings the look, feel, and quality you know and love from Takamine, but at a fraction of the cost, and is perfect for working musicians and beginners alike. We could've chosen any of the low-cost G Series guitars for this list, but the Takamine GN11M-NS spoke to us the most. Now you might want to spare this Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar. It is built by no other less than Yamaha of course. The frets are pretty standard, with steel fretwire and a fretboard made from rosewood. The Yamaha F335 exemplifies why this wood is used as a fretboard material – it gives the guitar a warmer sound than other fretboard materials. Of course, these are issues you find with almost any guitar made of laminate. Hard top guitars sound significantly better. They also cost significantly more. The biggest selling point here is probably going to be the price tag. This is a quality instrument at a very reasonable price tag. This also means there will be some durability issues. Laminate is very susceptible to scratching. Of course, that is just a cosmetic issue that does not affect the way you play the guitar. Great sound– of course you want to sing some good songs with your friends or love ones during these times. Having a guitar that sounds almost like a cheap can of soda won’t impress them.
