I'm not sure what the 1 star reviewers were expecting, to be honest. Complaining about how it's written, etc.. We need to remember Charlotte is not an author writing a novel she's just a normal person sharing her life experiences. I LOVED it. At the time of reading this book, i have had surgery so i am currently recovering and to read a book so positive & so bubbly and refreshing to read, it brought joy to my heart. Congrats @OleTed On the new thread title, actually the most liked post from the whole of the last thread ( incase any newer members don't get the 'mothers matter ' reference please read the wiki to see how disgracefully greedy treated a charity that helps mothers) This book spoke to me so much being someone who’s not a career woman, 33 without kids and a little bit of a nerd it’s sometimes challenging finding my place because other women my age often can’t relate to my lifestyle.It was nice to find out a little bit more about her life experiences, lessons learned, and how she got to where she is now. It's a reminder of who you are and what you have achieved. With the affordable approach to doing up her home, Charlotte has amassed a large following of home-lovers, proving to be a source of inspiration in the space and industry! It’s definitely a book that I will keep referring to when I have my doubts about life or about myself. I’m grateful to also have the hard copy that was signed by Charl herself. You Do You read like a half memoir/half inspirational, motivational book. I loved finding more out about Charlotte that we don’t already know, even if you have followed her Insta for years.
