Tarmac Works 1/64 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Logitech G NEXT DIMENSION with Container - Logitech Special Edition - HOBBY64 While some smaller scale RC cars can be duds with poor driveability, I’m fairly impressed by the performance and quality of these new RC cars and am excited to see where this new RC tech takes us Hot Wheels fans in 2021. A drift car is a specific type of car used in the motorsport of drifting. It is typically rear-wheel drive, with a manual transmission and a powerful engine capable of producing high torque. Other defining characteristics of drift cars include: The “turbo” button is where the R buttons would be on a PlayStation controller, and the two smaller angled buttons are steering trim alignments. The turbo button doesn’t give the car any more power, but does immediately direct all the car’s available power to the rear wheels at the press of a button — which makes for a dramatic Fast and Furious NOSSSSSS type moment (see video below for turbo action).

DIY SERVO CONTROL ARM HORNS are cut from 0.5mm brass sheet as space is very limited inside the cars and you need it cranked forward and I also used a smaller head screw (or grind it) to hold it on as it's usually right up near the windshield. Hobby King HK-5320 (max 4.2v) have thinner 6.2mm wide servos (14x16-18mm) with the 1.25mm micro JST plugs to suit the VD5M FrSkyAs for mine I used the 0.5mm sheet brass again and cut 3mm strips then drilled a hole to match the drive shaft and folded it into a U shape about 3 x 3 x 3mm overall. I glued very small pieces of tube or bushing (from inside of old disposable cigarette lighters) inside the hot wheels where they have the recess hole on the outside for the axil ends ...... Because when I grind down the inside of most wheels to get them to a more usable width size (around 4-5 mm wide) it also removes the wheels inside nipple and now the wheel may have excessive wobble on an axil as it has so little meat left to spin on. Next, you will need to design the main internal housing for the RC components. Use whichever CAD program you are most comfortable with.

RPP Hobby is another online store that offers 1/64 RC car parts and accessories. They have an extensive catalog of products and excellent customer service. Or use long large pins for drive shafts with the pin heads inside the bottom of the U and then epoxy or solder on the outside or the U.This axil will allow the separate gear under the last output shaft to spin freely as it originally did and it should not drag on the trim pot or bind on the 3 servo cases if all is aligned correctly. Also the Majorette's Mustang Boss is 1:61 scale and still looks similar in size to Hot Wheels but it has that little extra space you need for parts and a bigger LiPO and they have more scale narrow width wheels. Motor output: The motor’s output must be powerful enough to keep the car in motion and maintain control while drifting.
