About this deal

Caught Looking” is the first novel in the “Hot-Lanta” series, and was released in the year 2013. Things have been heating up in Atlanta, or in Jane’s celibate life of two years. On the second anniversary of her nasty split from her ex, her friends Molly (a class A potty mouth) and Albert (an expert flamboyant dresser) decide that it is high time Jane drops her conservative persona, just let loose and begin having fun again. That being said, I did love it when they finally get together and the rest of the book was just flawless. They were so effortless in their relationship that even though it took no time to being just friends to head over heels in love, it didn't feel fake at all. They were just so right for one another! This book was the ultimate cooked perfection. The chemistry between Breaker and Lia was absolutely amazing, but what she really loved was how well they understood and complemented each other. Their banter was witty and funny while also having the kind of honest and open communication that strengthened their relationship. Everything is different with you. It’s as if I can see better, hear better, taste better. You’ve brought vivid color into my life, Lia. You’re the one pumping the oxygen through my veins.” I received an ARC of this title from the author. The excerpts are from that copy. I am voluntarily reviewing this title.

The only problem is, with every second we draw closer to the wedding, I’m starting to see my best girl in a different light. Fans fell in love with each and every one of the friends in the novel. These characters are so well written that readers felt each tear and all the laughter. Readers enjoyed all the glimpses into the lives of all these characters. Brady and Jane are simply delicious. Fans enjoy all the drama, the hot times, and some irrational and sweet times, with some devastation.Accepting Author Tour Requests as well!: http://irresistiblereadstour.wordpress.com/submit-a-request-book-a-tour/ The gang has returned and this time around, nobody is left untouched. Confusion, pain, disappointment, and frustration are spread throughout the entire group as exciting and new adventures are welcomed while unexpected events happen. Brady meets Jane, and is instantly attracted to her inner sex kitten and innocence, however the last thing she wants is to get thrown into another relationship with this publicly known man-whore. Especially not after she got her heart broken so horribly. Brady makes it a mission to win Jane over and make her see him like he truly is, not how the media views him. It is not that easy, though. Spring training, ex’s, wedding plans, old friends from college, gossip magazines and the paparazzi appear to keep getting in the way of his goal to earn her heart. Now, I didn't love the fact that they were with different people for over half the book. I get the plot revolves around Lia almost marrying the wrong guy, but I wished she left him a lot sooner than she did (though that bakery scene was FANTASTIC.) I also hated how Breaker tried to date someone (this was before he had his moment of realization) and though I'm so glad the woman he tried to date didn't have any nefarious plans up her sleeve and was just really great-- so much so that I hope her and a certain ex baseball player will get their own book!- I wish it didn't happen that way. I get *why* it did, but I just don't love reading about our main characters trying to make it work with other people when we know they belong with each other instead. Ugh. OMG Breaker Cane is EVERYTHING! He’s the best friend a girl could ask for. Kind, supportive and always there when needed, he begins to realize that his feelings for Lia are more than friendship, but is it too late for her to realize what they might have? I loved his quiet determination and his dirty mouth.

Meghan writes the “Stroked” series, the “Dating by Numbers” series, the “Love and Sports” series, the “Binghamton” series, the “Jett Girl” series, and the “Hot-Lanta” series, as well as some stand alone novels. She writes romance and romantic suspense novels. The chemistry and banter between Lia & Breaker gives me warm fuzzies and, oh my goodness, was I surprised in the best way by the steam between them! Phew! Oh my heart....I can't even begin to explain what this story did to me, the emotions it evoked from me and when I say this is a book that needs to be read.....YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!H is dating ow for some chapters. She is pretty and amazing and he kisses her but doesn’t feel anything. OM was the one to suggest H dating ow and because he wanted to be friends with him so when he marries h they can continue to hang out he does that. When he realizes he’s in love with h he stopped dating ow and talked with her. I think she is going to be a h for other book. Yeah, neither has my best friend’s soon-to-be monster-in-law. Ooo, sorry, I meant mother-in-law. Nor has she heard of the term, what the bride wants, the bride gets. Ten years later they are more than best friends, they’re neighbors and now Breaker has agreed to be Lia’s man in waiting. Lia and Breaker’s connection was just so precious. I loved their friendship, and this book reminded me how much I love friends to lovers. And their spice…GOOD. LORD. It had me sweating! This was absolutely the spiciest Cane brother book to date. It was such a slow burn with so much tension. And when it finally burst…whewwww!

Friends to lovers is not my usual jam but this was phenomenal. The slowburn was SLOW and I loved every excruciating painful moment it took leading up the spice, the wait was WORTH IT!! Don’t even get me started on the bathtub scene, I melted. the slow 🔥. Okay. Listen. I know. I know so many people are gonna want this to be a fast burn. But. The way that it’s done here MAKES SENSE. Lia and Breaker have been best friends for a decade. For a chunk of the book, she’s with someone else. It needed to be on the slow burn side 🤷🏻‍♀️. Sure, Breaker could’ve pushed her, but he made sure to get her to FEEL 🥵 the delicious tension 💦 between them. It’s the little touches that had even MY heart beating 👀 and got lots of juices flowing 😉. He needed her to know that they are IT. This isn’t a game. They’re not just gonna move on. This is IT. And man… did I enjoy it 😋.Funny, sweet and romantic, A Long Time Coming was an absolute treat. Breaker and Lia were adorable together and I loved watching them realize there was more than friendship between them. I'll admit Lia, the FMC, was a little annoying and immature at times (and, yes, I'll choose to ignore the fact that we share a name, for the same reason listed before), and I didn't always agree with Breaker's decisions: I also cringed more times than I could count, but the book was overall cute and pretty enjoyable, and I guess I've read worse, at this point. I loved the romance inspired by my best friend’s wedding from friends to lovers so much! A Long Time Coming is the 3 and also final book about the Cane brothers. If you haven’t read A So Not Meet Cute or So Not Meant to Be yet, you should. The books stand on their own (you don’t have to read them before this one), but they’re all so fun, cute, and spicy. Just read Kiss and Don’t Tell and really loved it and all the characters. Is there any chance this might become a series, so we get to see the other players get their happy ever afters. Reply Breaker and Lia are the cutest, nerdiest, most fun couple I've read about in a while and through 60% of the book they aren't even a couple. They're best friends who have the best kind of relationship. They have the same interests, finish each other's sentences and always put the other first.
