About this deal

Accidentally Amy receives many buzz. Sadly the book does not match the expectation. Miss Painter done a wonderful job with the banter. It is fun especially Izzi. Sadly the tone and the joke does not hit home with me. Lynn uses witty jokes and random references to television, movies, and music to light the flames of romance in this fun and sexy romantic comedy. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more Painter masterpieces! And Izzy… what a joy!!! Her inner monologue and her witty responses also gave me heartfelt eyes for her. the writing was easy to follow, but I feel like there were a lot of parts that could’ve been edited/ fixed. I think the errors might just be because it was the kindle edition and the print edition might be better (format wise).

Review: Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter — What Is That Book

and although I thought this book was enjoyable and can be easily read in one sitting, it was a little too insta-love for my liking. Isabella Shay is usually a very honest person. But when she’s late for her first day at her dream job and the barista yells “Amy” 3 times with no response, she does the unthinkable. The timeline for this story is really fast, but I wholeheartedly felt their chemistry. It was so easy to find enjoyment with these characters simply spending time together. It was a perfect low angst, lighthearted autumn read to escape into! Blake was so hot and the smooth movements he made made my stomach flutter with butterflies. And Izzy was so adorable. When Blake told him to never change, I said, “I totally get you, dude.” These characters had so much soul and personality that they seemed real to me. I literally felt the connection between Blake and Izzy because it was so palpable. YOU ARE EVERYTHING!!! I am so obsessed with the Lynn Painter books that this is obviously a five star read for me and I am so in love with this story! The only strange thing was that this book did not appear to have been proofread. There were several typos and Izzy’s eyes were blue throughout the book until the penultimate chapter when they turned green. But tbh, the typos didn’t bother me at all and didn’t detract from the book. Lynn Painter is the USA Today Bestselling Author of BETTER THAN THE MOVIES and MR. WRONG NUMBER. She writes romantic comedies for teens and adults, and when she isn’t reading or writing, she can usually be found binge-watching rom-coms or shotgunning energy drinks.

Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ REVIEW: Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter

Throughout this story Isabella and Blake toy with the idea that fate brought them together. And it does seem that way, but I got lost in this cozy read and did not think much about it until the end when it’s revealed that Blake and Isabella have the same middle name. The author has me believing in fate now too. It was a simple touch, but I felt like it brought the story full circle. All in all, Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter is a breezy, short, endearing rom-com that can easily be read in one sitting. With adorable characters, memorable scenes, and enjoyable romance, this book is perfect to give you an endorphins boost. So, if you are looking for a meet cute, mistaken identity, easy going characters, entertaining texting and banter, breezy storyline, and a swoon-worthy cinnamon roll hero then this book is for you. This book is A+ banter from beginning to end. Izzy had an intense chaotic energy that paired so well with businessman Blake. From the hilarious text message threads to the playful name calling, I could not stop giggling. But when she’s running late for her first day at a dream job and the barista yells for “Amy” 3x with no answer, she does the unthinkable. So, both the protagonists are fun, loveable, and relatable. Their struggles both on the professional and personal front is understandable. Then I was thoroughly entertained by their texts to each other, and fun banter. Don't get me wrong, it was an easy read, cute, and I liked Izxy and Blake together, but they were both so immature, especially Izzy, and she was just pure chaos! This novel is greatly written and has a lot of pop culture references ranging from Reylo to the Darking to 365, and it all adds to the charm of this short romance. What I loved about this novel was that everything from the setting, to the characters, to the references, turns the novel into a cozy and charming read. Use the same tired cry-laughing smiley for everything like a total wank?” “Is that a wank thing to do?” “Absolutely it is.” Iz is the definition of a walk chaos. Loved her. And Blake is a straight-laced businessman. It’s a great match, which creates one of the best dynamics. Major grumpy/sunshine vibes…sort of.

Accidentally Amy was everything I had expected it to be. It was light and fun with a perfect blend of sweet moments and addictive banter.

I’m telling you, this book gave me a bad book hangover! He wowed me with his witty dialogue, hilarious banter, and such intense chemistry between Izzy and Blake that it melted me into a puddle. I laughed and passed out and cheered for Blake and Izzy the entire time. No other book has made me laugh as much as this year this year. It was so unforgettable, well written and definitely romantic! These characters were so unintentionally funny, cute, quirky, and charming. Isabella Shay is usually a very honest person. But when she’s running late for her first day at a dream job and the barista yells for “Amy” 3x with no answer, she does the unthinkable. I liked it better than Mr Wrong number, but this author definitely likes her ditzy, clutzy, no filter heroines! Accidentally Amy was a really cute friends to lovers/workplace romance. Izzy and Blake have a fun meet-cute and I enjoyed their romance. The conflict at the end was a little meh, but overall I liked this one. The Darkling is sitting on your lap.” “Why does that conjure the unfortunate image of Ben Barnes reclining on my thighs.” THIS WAS FUNNY

Blake is a cutie and hallmark style hero who had me sighing and swooning with his protectiveness, his cat love, and his endearing inner clash between what his heart desired and what his mind pushed him to do.It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had these feelings about a book. I haven’t devoured a book so fast since The Hating Game. I read every word without skimming which I have NEVER done with a KU book. This Kindle Unlimited read is pure fluff and cuteness. Kindle Unlimited is a great resource if you enjoy binge reading and finding new authors. A lot of novels on kindle unlimited are self published, so it’s cool way to find more books from indie authors. Summary: Mia Sosa is one of my favorite Latinx writers, so when I discovered she had written a squeal to the Worst Best Man, I knew I had to read it. Once again, readers will be able to dive into an adorable romance novel and reacquaint themselves with familiar characters and delicious Brazilian cuisine. Thank you… Iz is weird, eccentric and adorable in her weirdness. Her sunshine personality beautifully complemented Blake’s more serious persona. This turn of events has put the brakes on Blake and Isabella’s possible relationship because neither of them want to risk their jobs for dating a coworker. But they compromise on an adorable friendship. The more time Blake and Isabella spend as besties, the more attached they become to each other, and soon they’re entangled in each other’s lives. But can their friendship thrive despite their attraction to one another? Thoughts:
