I have to say that I’m disappointed with the fact that after only a couple of hours it can only be smelled when my nose touches my wrist. Nonsense aside, this is probably my favourite out of the ADG line. I find the performance good on my skin, about 6.5+ hours but that’s okay bc this is clearly a summer/spring scent. So bright, so CLEAN, so “sea”y but in a good, fresh, invigorating way. Honestly, I do not understand this fragrance and think it is the most challenging of the ADG line. The opening is brash and just all over the place: citrus, marine, mineral. It does not smell have the ADG DNA that makes most scents in the line so immediately recognizable. (If I were to blind smell this, I would not think it was ADG, as opposed to Profumo, for example) This is my signature scent since it came out. I always buy new fragrances, heavier, sweeter, more intense , but i always have at least a bottle of this one. I unfortunately did get the reformulated version as many others complained but what can we do? Shit happens. It opens similar to what it was 20 years ago and dissapears within an hour without any further development. (Basically it became a ridiculously expensive body mist.) The newer GIO releases have nothing to do with the original. They became typical blue or smoky vanilla crowd pleasers. Maybe Essenza was a bit closer (Also gone for good). Armani destroyed this masterpiece. I actually think that this is not that good. I like this fresh dna, but it's hard to do something unique. It's boring and synthetic smelling. I was hoping for a fresh, sporty freshie, but I was pretty disappointed. This is probably because of reformulations.

A lot of folk talk about this one being reformulated to be weaker, and although I have no first hand experience of wearing this before now, my father wore it a lot when I was younger, and I don't recall it lasting particularly long on him either, so who knows. However, if you take this fragrance on the date, there’s a good chance that you will smell like her ex or like her dad, or like her best friend, which can often be a mood killer. You most definitely don’t want to hear “You smell like my dad!”! My 2nd most fave perfume and it's the 1st designer perfume I ever bought. There's two version of it, the one I bought on the mall was the bottle without the "Pour Homme" on it. It was December and I really enjoy wearing the perfume. I already half-empty my bottle. The smell, it's citrus-floral-aquatic, fresh and clean just came out of the shower. But my bottle doesn't have that citrus/lemon opening, just the florals and definitely could smell the persimmon/melon with some hints of labdanum, cedarwood, and patchouli in the drydown. Man, the drydrown is so beautifully crafted, kept smelling my wrists, so pleasing. I definitely can smell a mature man who has put it all together. Can be a work or date scent. This is a summer banger, scent is really nice, full aquatic, sparks of bergamot+mandarin mix and lavender for the first 1-2 hours, then it fades eventually after an additional hour into a marine-mineral thing (at that point is a skin scent) and then evolves into a musky patchouli fragrance. Amber is always there providing a sweetish note.I don’t quite understand it myself but something about it works like a magic spell apparently. Have heard people in the past say the Profumo is to thank for the existence of their children, and I kinda get what they meant now. I'm a woman and I first felt this scent on a coworker when he was passing by my desk and after a few times, I had to ask him what it was. I can't possibly put into words how good this smells to me, I've never felt anything like it and it acts as an absolute magnet, I turn my head whenever I smell it... I've now felt it occasionally on other men when they pass me by on the street - if there was ever a real love potion, this one is it. I can't tell the ingredients apart, just the overall scent is intoxicating in the best way.

|Acqua di Giò Eau de Parfum by Giorgio Armani is a Aromatic Aquatic fragrance for men. This is a new fragrance. Acqua di Giò Eau de Parfum was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Sea Notes and Green Mandarin; middle notes are Clary Sage, Lavender and Geranium; base notes are Mineral notes, Vetiver and Patchouli. I think this has been reformulated. I remember this as a strong sweet-ish sea frag but now all i smell is musk and synthetic notes with the bew batch. Very masculine, very clean, does smell elegant, can be used in extreme heat with no problems, I can go 12 sprays and it will be a beast for 4 hours, and fade in 8 hours, or I can just do 2-4 sprays and be good for a 1-2 hours. While it doesn't smell bad, much like the previous Abolu, it has a sharp chemical smell to it that just doesn't work for me. Clean and fresh fragrances. Projects well and has good performance. Works well for younger men in their 20's.I’ve noticed some comparisons with polo blue and “blue” frags like BdC or sauvage, and I can see how this is a valid comparison, but I find it also does this fragrance a disservice. Yes it’s a more aquatic version of the original, but I feel it does not try to be a “blue” fragrance (like BdC, sauvage, Dylan blue, Luna Rossa carbon, etc). If you do not like fragrances like those, don’t write this one off, it’s not in the same ballpark! There is an entirely different structure to the fragrance and it blends every note together almost flawlessly: freshness, sweetness, florals, spice, it’s almost perfectly blended. Not flat and boring or overly synthetic and harsh. Much more lively, sparkling, and more tolerable in large doses than the “blue” frags. This one surprised me, and not in the way I was expecting. With my unending love for the original ADG and failing to find anything I love more than Profumo thus far, I had high hopes that this one, too, would reign supreme on my list. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. With Profondo, there is something missing that gave the original more zest and Profumo more depth. It was likely the overabundance of notes in ADG and the addition of incense in Profumo. Opens fresh and citrussy, fruity suggestions of peach and melon are there in the beginning also though every note is subtle and well-blended.

If you are into Light Blue and other chemical-smelling, generic "blue" fragrances, chances are you will like this one. Les dejará un aura de juventud y frescura que les alegrará el rostro y abrirá en personas jóvenes cumplidos. Acqua di Gio is one of those fragrances I just do not understand. The mere thought of hooking up with a guy wearing this would probably be a deal-breaker for me, as shallow as that sounds. I had a bottle in early 2010 through 2012. Full body lotion, aftershave, shower gel (the whole thing). Needed a new gym fragrance and this came to mind, went for a tester, and loving this all again so far!As it dries down, the scent becomes very earthy and green. The sea notes retreat but it still retains some freshness. There are not many differences between a real and fake bottle of Acqua Di Gio but often the ones that you can find are these: But I must say I was not disappointed. Pretty much everything I love from the OG is in the EDP minus I would say some citruses. The EDP is not as fresh as the EDT but that OG DNA vibe is still there. The opening is heavenly. If you like the original, trust me, you will LOVE this. It’s taken that sparkly, citrusy, aquatic airiness of the original and amped it up, slightly more of a marine vibe, and it is much more grown up. The marine notes, the citrusy florals, absolute freshness with a slight warmth to it... beautiful, truly a treat to behold. You can really tell the increased quality and are given a much richer, deeper, and denser fragrance. Surprisingly versatile too, I’m one of the few people who really enjoy wearing fresh fragrances all year round instead of wearing something sweeter and warmer in the winter. There are some that just wouldn’t hold up, but this one really does well in all weather and settings. It’s youthful and bright but also deep and sophisticated, a really nice balance in my opinion: it doesn’t smell like you’re some rich guy in a tuxedo who drives a rolls Royce, it smells more like someone who craves adventure, sensuality, and subtle luxury in equal measures.
