Annihilation Omnibus (Trade Paperback) | Comic Issues | Comic

Collects Kull the Conqueror (1982) #1-2; Kull the Conqueror (1983) #1-10; Kull: The Vale of Shadow (1989); and Marvel Team-Up (1972) #111-112. Collects Star Wars: Empire (2002) #7, 14, 16-27; Star Wars: Vader’s Quest (1999) #1-4; Star Wars (2013) #1-20; Star Wars Kids (1997) #1-20; and Star Wars 3-D (1987) #1-3.

Also includes material from Fantastic Four (1961) #54; Tales of Suspense (1959) #97-99, and Astonishing Tales (1970) #6-7. Marvel stated they will be releasing a Daredevil omnibus in support of the TV show. However, no info on content other than it will not be a reprint of Frank Miller's Daredevil companion omnibus. Perhaps Nocenti's run? Drax The Destroyer #1-4, Annihilation Prologue, Annihilation: Nova #1-4, Annihilation: Silver Surfer #1-4 and Annihilation: Super-Skrull #1-4, Annihilation: Ronan #1-4, Annihilation #1-6, Annihilation: Heralds Of Galactus #1-2 and Annihilation: The Nova Corps Files Now, I do realize that this is the first of the 5 cosmic omnis, but the main issue I had with the book is that...well, it’s kinda of boring. I’m not usually big on space adventures in the big 2 because I simply don’t care too much for the characters. Usually, the writer will introduce a bunch of forgettable but uber powerful characters to escalate and move the plot forward. And this happens here all the time. Galactus proceeds to unleash a massive, omnidirectional blast that later becomes known as the "Galactus event." Silver Surfer is sent ahead of the blast by Galactus to herald the imminent destruction, as the unleashed "Galactus obliteration perimeter" wipes out the majority of the Annihilation Wave, more than three star systems and even vaporizes a Watcher.
