Description

This was a programme I, personally, watched for a few years and I remember Ant and Dec in the show, before they left the show and became popstars.

Don't get me wrong, it's mildly entertaining but you won't learn much - it's like an evening with Ant and Dec, where they wheel out plenty of tried and true anecdotes you probably have heard before if you're a longtime fan - especially if you read their 2009 autobiography. As NSPCC Ambassadors for Childhood, we wanted to show our support for this fantastic charity and their vital work.” This audiobook is just brilliant, the PDF photo book to accompany the storytelling is a wonderful touch and the nice surprising at the end of them reading this superbly written book is what really made me laugh. Dec said: “Childhood Day next year is going to be even better and we’re thrilled that through the launch of Propa Happy we can encourage children and grown-ups across the UK to come together to fundraise on June the 10th and do their bit for children.”In this chapter Ant and Dec talk about meeting various members of the British Royal Family at various moments in their career, and particularly HRH Prince Charles. Ant and Dec first met HRH Prince Charles in 2001, where they interviewed him about the 25th anniversary of ‘The Prince’s Trust’. Other memorable times Ant and Dec have met members of the British Royal Family are in 2006, 2015 (for The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations), and in 2017 (when Ant and Dec received their OBEs). A very fun listen. They're obviously an electric duo and it was a joy to listen to their story from themselves. The plot was entertaining and funny, as would be expected. Anthony David "Ant" McPartlin OBE (born 18 November 1975) is a British television presenter, TV producer, singer, comedian and actor. He is best known for working alongside Declan Donnelly as part of the presenting duo Ant & Dec. McPartlin came to prominence, alongside Donnelly, in the children's drama series Byker Grove, with both of the boys establishing successful careers as television presenters, in which they are most known for presenting SMTV Live (between 1998 and 2001), I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (since 2002), and Britain's Got Talent (since 2007). It wasn't just acting for the boys: PJ & Duncan were pop stars for a while, and became best known for their 1994 UK top 10 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble'. After the pair performed it on Saturday Night Takeaway, the song went to Number 1 in March 2013. I listened to this are a time that I was struggling mentally. It was the lift that I needed, it made me reminisce about the 90's and laugh so much.

Ant said: “Every child deserves a happy childhood – and the NSPCC rely on fundraising to ensure they can continue to be here for children and families. I wouldn't mind so much it there weren't chapters devoted to vague themes such as awards ceremonies and the royals so it's not like they didn't have the space.Registered office: Media House, Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough PE2 6EA and H Bauer Publishing, Company number: LP003328;

Byker Grove was based in a youth club in Newcastle and teenagers and young adults went there to hang out with each other.

No I'm not obsessed. It's fascinating. I mean, the bond, the love for each other, the friendship, it's unlike any other. Then I'll ask myself which one I like best, because I'll watch a clip and I'll find Dec so adorable but then the next one, Ant's puns will be so hilarious, I'll have to ask myself again. Then he got angry. “How could he do that? I wanted to punch him and hug him at the same time – and I didn’t know which one I wanted to do first.” Ant's parents moved away so now he lives with Dec and his mum. Meanwhile, the two young Geordies discover their feelings for each other. Despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Ant and Dec were able to present the 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity from Gwrych Castle in North Wales!
