Don't take Beechams max strength all in one if you're taking any of the following medicines, because the combination may increase your blood pressure: Contains paracetamol. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well. Dosage: Adults (including elderly) and children aged 16 years and over: Cold & Flu: One sachet to be taken every four hours, if necessary, up to a maximum of six sachets in any 24 hours. Flu Plus: One sachet to be taken every four-six hours, as necessary, up to a maximum of four sachets in any 24 hours. Do not take continuously for more than 7 days without medical advice. Hypersensitivity reactions – including that cross-sensitivity may occur with other sympathomimetics. If you're taking medicines for high blood pressure you shouldn't take Beechams max strength all in one, because the decongestant may make your blood pressure medicine less effective.

Do not take the medicine continuously for longer than five days without consulting a doctor. If your symptoms don't go away or get worse despite taking this medicine, ask your pharmacist for advice. Women who are pregnant. (Phenylephrine has blood vessel constricting effects that could restrict blood supply to the placenta, or cause problems for women with a history of pre-eclampsia. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for further advice on how to treat cold and flu symptoms during pregnancy.) In addition to reducing mucosal lining swelling, decongestants also suppress the production of mucous, therefore preventing a build up of fluid within the cavities which could otherwise lead to pressure and pain. Pharmacological interactions involving paracetamol with a number of other drugs have been reported. These are considered to be of unlikely clinical significance in acute use at the dosage regimen proposed. Allergic reactions such as a rash or itching. Stop using this medicine and get medical advice if you think you've had an allergic reaction to it.Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. Do not take with other flu, cold or decongestant products. If you are taking medication or are under medical care, consult your doctor before using this medicine. This product should not be used by patients taking other sympathomimetics (such as decongestants, appetite suppressants and amphetamine-like psychostimulants) It's fine to take Beechams max strength all in one with plain ibuprofen or aspirin (assuming these are appropriate for you). However, don't take it with co-codamol, co-dydramol or Tramacet because these contain paracetamol.

Concomitant use of phenylephrine with other sympathomimetic amines can increase the risk of cardiovascular side effects. Signs of liver problems like dark urine, feeling tired, not hungry, upset stomach or stomach pain, light-colored stools, throwing up, or Don't take Beechams all in one if you have taken a type of medicine called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) in the last 14 days. This is because the combination of phenylephrine with these medicines could cause a dangerous increase in blood pressure (hypertensive crisis).This medicine is licensed for adults aged 16 years and over. How does Beechams max strength all in one work? ParacetamolLiver damage is possible in adults who have taken 10g or more of paracetamol. Ingestion of 5g or more of paracetamol may lead to liver damage if the patient has risk factors (see below). Indications: Relief of sinus pain and the symptoms of colds and influenza, including fatigue and drowsiness.

Do not take continuously for more than 7 days without medical advice. Do not give to children under 16 years of age except on medical advice. Hypersensitivity reactions - including that cross-sensitivity may occur with other sympathomimetics. Indications: Symptomatic relief of influenza, feverishness, chills and colds, including feverish colds. Relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, period pains, aches and pains, rheumatic pain and muscular aches and pains. is on long term treatment with carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, primidone, rifampicin, St John's Wort or other drugs that induce liver enzymes.

Contains paracetamol. Do not take anything else containing paracetamol whilst taking this medicine. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well. If you do not get better, talk to your doctor.
