New Tech in an Old World (4:49) - Hiram Garcia, set decorator Larry Dias, production designer Tom Meyer, and others talk Your typical collection of EPK special features can be found on the included Blu-ray edition of the movie. range and that format's higher native resolution, what you get here is a nicely detailed, crisp, and overall robust image with very good color saturation

A Flawed Hero (5:09) - You ain't kidding, bub. But seriously, this brief series of cast and crew interviews summarizes the damning with feint praise. Those who enjoyed the film, however, will appreciate Warner Bros.' 4K and Blu-ray editions, both of which offer suitably great A/V presentations and a collection of bogged down the genre for more than a decade; he isn't exactly a heroic figure, after all. Yet the film's tonal inconsistencies prevent it from carving It remains to be seen when exactly it'll hit the streamer, but WB's recent releases may give us a clue. From Soul to Screen (6:09) - Producer Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, and other contributors -- some of whom briefly Starring: Dwayne Johnson , Aldis Hodge , Pierce Brosnan , Noah Centineo , Sarah Shahi , Quintessa Swindell In the US, the film will also become available at no extra on HBO Max, a streaming service that includes shows and films from DC, HBO, Universal Pictures, WarnerBros and others – although a date hasn’t been announced yet.

In theory, a report on when a movie will be streaming or on Blu-Ray isn't that exciting, however, this studio has fumbled this transition period since the COVID-19 pandemic halted the industry in 2020. Then we have the Justice Society of Hawkman and Dr. Fate who are so great that they become precariously close to being a distraction from our main hero. Aldis Hodge is an incredible Hawkman and in true Bond fashion every time Pierce Brosnan is on screen he steals the show. Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone were fun but ultimately not as impressive as the rest of the team. We get some great superhero vs anti-hero action with this lineup and it's thrilling to see them on the big screen.

The 2.39:1 AVC framed image is the star of the show, with a 4K image that easily surpasses the excellent 1080p image from the Blu-ray. The warm and richly detailed picture captures the desert arena quite well, with deeply saturated colors mixed with sandy and hazy looking browns and ambers. The CGI is a bit weak in some spots, but overall detail levels and transfer nuances are superb. Fine details are exceptional, showing off every facial wrinkle, and every splatter of blood to the naked eye. The neon blues and yellows and reds pop off the screen with the HDR application, and even gets rid of the banding that I saw in the desert sky from the Blu-ray. Spot on perfect for the genre and an EXCELLENT demo disc for image quality.Who is the Justice Society? (1080p; 14:16): Aldis Hodge takes us on a tour of the Justice Society through the years in DC Comics. This two-disc release ships in a dual-hubbed keepcase with plain-wrap cover artwork and a Digital Copy redemption code. It's a pretty convoluted opening, be sure -- enough that you may have just skimmed the last paragraph, and I wouldn't blame you -- but at least immersive soundstage with no shortage of channel separation, and rear presence, not to mention regular use of the height channels when its any of its depending on volume and location. Overall, it's an enveloping effort that, save for a little underperformance in the LFE channel (at least to my ears), It is available to buy or rent (where you can watch the film for up to 48 hours once you start) in SD, HD and UHD (4K), with the Premium Digital version also including several special featurettes and bonus material (see below for the full list).
