I found the side burn trimmer is not as good as other shavers I've used in the past and requires several passes to achieve the same effect but it does work. After using the shaver I run it under the tap until no more shavings come out and then clean it in the station every other use. To clean it in the station you insert it head facing down with the power button facing towards you and then press the cleaning button. Cleaning actually takes quite a while, initially the shaver will turn on and of for a few seconds over a few minutes whilst the cleaning fluid being pushed through it and then a fan comes on to dry it out. The drying fan is quite loud and runs for like 40 minutes. After cleaning the shaver head smells like lemon sherbet sweets!
