Colpermin is brilliant! I suffered for over a year with acute IBS. Lost sleep, anxiety, pressure on the bladder, embarrassment, lost interest in and enjoyment of life. I saw a consultant last month and he suggested Fybogel with either Colofac or Colpermin. I tried Colofac and it didn't help. In fact, it made me worse. I had tried Colpermin before I got the prescription. Now I get it on prescription too, along with Fybogel. I have had ibs for around 20 years however I am currently having a flare up that is worse then ever. Do not keep out-of-date or unwanted medicines. Take them to your local pharmacy which will dispose of them for you.
