About this deal

I decided to read the book “Commotion in the Ocean” because the illustrations on the front cover caught my attention. “Commotion in the Ocean” is a children’s picture book. The book was very well illustrated and written. The book is written and illustrated by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz. The book shows many different sea animals from crab to sharks and many more. Re-create the translucent bell of a jellyfish with tissue paper, then hang ribbon tentacles for a pretty ocean craft you’ll love to display. Here’s one more way to learn about the layers of the ocean. Use crepe paper to upcycle a plastic container, then get free printables at the link to add to your creation. Story Books Story Titles A-D Commotion in the Ocean - Giles Andreae Commotion in the Ocean - Primary Resources We’ve created some count and clip cards to use alongside this wonderful book. These cards are a great way for children to practice counting and identifying number. They also help them develop their fine motor skills at the same time. MATERIALS

We filled up enough water balloons for each child to have three balloons. With a permanent marker, we wrote the name of each child on each balloon (you want each child to have three). We used a shepherd hook as the sword of our swordfish. Each child had to find the balloons with their names on them. This is great practice for name recognition. They then took turns throwing the balloons at the swordfish trying to pop their balloons. A seashore adventure with sassy seagulls, singing sea life and an environmental issue which is growing rapidly out of control. Fix the Picture Under the Sea Cutting Skills Worksheet - Help your children improve their cutting skills with this worksheet. It’s their job to cut out the pieces of the seabed scene and put them where they think they must go, completing the picture. They can also improve their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. More books about the ocean for kids: This book talks about the different animals like sharks, octopus, and many different fish in the ocean and they describe the in detail. The story is told from the animal's point of view. They also talked about crabs, walruses, and polar bears that live on land but close to the water. This book will be a great way to peak a child's interest in animals. All of Fury’s sunset sail trips are family friendly. The Commotion on the Ocean has a very lively atmosphere. If you would like a more low key excursion, we suggest the Champagne Sunset Cruise or the Glass Bottom Boat Sunset Cruise.A layer of oil floating on the water helps make wave action more obvious. You can do ocean activities like this one in person or as an online demo. Level 1 – matching rhymes, creating sentences from muddled words, matching animals to their descriptions, matching synonyms, using contractions, a true/false/can’t tell activity, punctuating sentences, matching halves of sentences, sorting words with long and short vowels and identifying adjectives.

The Commotion in the Ocean book is a collection of short and fun poems about the animals in and around the sea. The rhythmic rhymes and upbeat illustrations keep even the youngest readers interested. Try and guess what animal they have chosen. Fingerplay and songs All other new footage consists of Moe and Larry working as a duo, often discussing Shemp's absence aloud: We love that this art project shows students a different way of using both paint and chalk or pastels. Begin by creating the sunset or ocean water with chalk or pastels, then dip your finger in white tempera paint and watch as the color spreads. Finally, cut out ocean animals, coral reefs, or boats to add to your scene. The characters in the book are all of the animals that live in the ocean that are described in the book. It describes many of them. Like the shark, it eats other fish. The stingray will sting other creatures with the stinger on its tail. Also the blue whale, the biggest beast on the planet. BOAT FEATURES

I really enjoyed reading the book "Commotion in the Ocean". It was a fun read as I got to read it to my younger cousin Elizabeth. It was interesting to see the difference in reaction throughout the book. She asked a lot of questions seeming very interested in learning about the different creatures. She said when she grows up she wants to live in the ocean. To her disappointment I had to tell her that was not possible. Other than that, she said she liked the book because of all the pictures, colors, and learned that whales are really big. Little ones will love looking at the colourful pictures and joining in with all the great sound words, as they discover all sorts of amazing sea creatures. Including blue whales, sea turtles, jellyfish, dolphins and more!
