About this deal

Thats wonderful, thank you, it's exactly what i am hoping to do with Finn, he doesnt mind taking one capsule but hates the 2nd, so im hoping in a few weeks to get him on one a day and although its just a supplement i don't like giving my cats anything they might not need...but i know he'll be on them for a while yet.

Cystease Urinary Tract Supplment for Cats Feliway Cystease Urinary Tract Supplment for Cats

Feliway Cystease (Formerly Cystease Advanced) Urinary Tract Support supplement for cats has been designed to support the bladder lining of your cats. Feliway is the world's leading cat behaviour product, scientifically proven to help stop and prevent unwanted behaviours in cats. For others products(categorised as NFA-VPS) we will require details of your pets being treated, which our Suitably Qualified Person can prescribeYou could also try him with a little goats milk as a change from broth, but go cautiously as some cats get a loose stool from any kind of milk that contains lactose. I am a HUGE fan of D Mannose and would definitely try him on that as @chillminx recommends. It is a very fine powder which dissolves easily into food and none of mine have refused to take it. It was my decision to put him on Cystease, twice a day for a couple of weeks. Then I cut down to one and he continued to wee fine, nice big wees and no straining, crying or hopping in and out of the litter tray, Then I took them off him and he has been fine for a couple of years now Cystease contains ingredients to help relieve stress and support the bladder, it does not contain any urine acidifiers. A urinary diet is the mainstay of preventing repeat urinary issues to it is advised to continue this if your vet has recommended one.

Feliway Cystease Capsules for Cats (various sizes)

Cystease Advanced Urinary Tract Support for Cats is a supplement that has been designed to support the bladder lining of your cats. A high percentage of cystitis cases, however, are said to be 'idiopathic' i.e. not associated with a medical cause. Thiscommonly occurs in cats which have an exaggerated response to stress. Some medications (categorised as POM-V) require a written prescription from a qualified vet after they have examined your pet; Cats prone to this type of bladder problem do better if they have a higher fluid intake, which helps produce more dilute urine. The problem is very unusual in cats which are not producing concentrated urine. Therefore we would recommend that most of the diet consists of wet, not dry food. Obese cats are more prone to trouble too, so the total amount of food provided should be restricted so as to keep the cat's bodyweight to the ideal level. Hello - My 7 year old tom cat recently had his first episode of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, the vet explained that it is usually caused by stress but he is the most chilled out cat I have ever owned. He is however an indoor cat, a little over weight & previously ate a totally dry kibble diet. His diet has now been reduced slightly & also is now 50/50 wet & dry food. So hopefully this will help.

Help is here!

Hyaluronic Acid helps to line the bladder wall and L-tryptophan is known for having a calming and de-stressing effect on cats. Possible Stressfactors: - Moving House,Building work, Inter-cat conflict (for example inmultiple cat households),new arrivals in the home(pets or people), owner stress, reduced access to outdoors, boarding in a cattery, cat travel, loud noises, etc. If Finn's having a problem with repeat infections in his bladder I would also give him Waterfall D-Mannose which is great at mopping up any bacteria hanging around in the bladder.
