Description

We will take a brief look at the DTT Pro 80 and ATH- M50x headphones and see how they hold up against the Beyerdynamic Pro DT 770 Pro 250. Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 vs 250 We thoroughly researched and analyzed the FiiO K5 Pro DAC and have found that it is an excellent option for headphone enthusiasts looking for high-quality audio. Having tested and evaluated numerous DACs, we can confidently say that standalone DACs have the potential to prevent static or interference, resulting in cleaner and superior audio. A top-notch standalone DAC can significantly enhance audio quality in comparison to built-in DAC amps found in computers or phones. Furthermore, most high-quality standalone DAC amps support the full frequency range of your headphones, unlike basic built-in DAC amps. That was our Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 studio headphone review. The DT 770 Pro has a closed-ear design that helps to minimize outside noise and it fits your ears correctly. It has an impressive 5Hz-35kHz frequency response with 250-ohm impedance. This compact DAC amp delivers exceptional audio quality, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, supporting up to 24-Bit / 96 kHz audio quality. While the DAC we recommend provides excellent audio quality up to 96 kHz, it may not meet the needs of those who require even higher-quality audio. Therefore, we suggest considering our other recommendations if you require a DAC with higher audio quality.

High impedance headphones benefit from a DAC amp as they require more power to achieve their full potential. Low sensitivity headphones may also require a DAC amp to drive them to the same sound pressure level as higher sensitivity headphones. Additionally, headphones with a wider frequency response may benefit more from a DAC amp than those with a limited frequency range. Thanks to the Tesla technologytechnology developed in Heilbronn, the DT 1770 PRO offers even finer resolution with precise and powerful bass. The PRO flagship also sets new standards in terms of wearing comfort and workmanship.

A studio legend that remains a sound choice for most pro audio tasks

Humans can typically hear between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. So why do headphones support an extended frequency range beyond this? The extended frequency range helps to reduce distortion and noise. When we talk about audio quality formats like 24-bit/96 kHz, we are referring to two important aspects of digital audio: bit depth and sample rate. Additionally, with a robust spring steel headband and a soft head pad, the Beyerdynamic Pro studio headphones are quite comfortable to wear for hours. Cons Of The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 I still remember the first time I tried a DAC amp. I had heard that it could improve the sound quality of my music, so I was excited to give it a shot. As soon as I plugged in my headphones, I noticed a difference. The music sounded more detailed and nuanced, with a greater sense of space and depth. It was a subtle but noticeable improvement that made me appreciate the potential of high-quality audio gear. From then on, I was hooked and have been a firm believer in the power of DAC amps to enhance my listening experience. The reason why I said the taste is because people always buy technical things like headphones and other stuff based on their taste in music delivery. Some like it rough and some like it soft on the ears. So, you can never tell what a person will like in an electronic device especially headphones. Let’s talk about the features of Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohms and 250 ohms:

Comfort comes first. Whether you’re in the studio, at home, or on the move, the DT 770s ensure a relaxing fit with soft velour earcups and a fully adjustable headband. You’ll be able to listen to music for hours on end, without any discomfort stopping your session. Overall, we highly recommend the FiiO K5 Pro DAC for anyone seeking a high-quality audio experience for their headphones. It’s best to connect the DT 770 Pro 250 to an amp or audio interface for optimum music recording experience. Pros Of The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250

Typical Apple Innovation…

While most desktop computers and laptops come with an integrated DAC on the motherboard, we have observed that high-end headphones might not perform optimally without a dedicated DAC amp.

Overall, we found that the Creative Sound Blaster AE-7 is an excellent choice for those seeking a DAC amp that can deliver exceptional audio quality with flexibility and convenience. The downside to this DAC is that it has to be installed in a computer, unlike other DACs, so it requires a computer with Windows installed. It also boasts various input options, including PC-USB, coaxial, Bluetooth, and optical, making it versatile and accessible to many users. I researched the product a lot to make the right decision and decided to buy it. I'm extremely happy now. Bit depth refers to the number of bits of information in each audio recording sample. The more bits per sample, the more accurately the recording can capture the subtle nuances of sound. In a 24-bit recording, each sample has 24 bits of data. This allows for a greater dynamic range, meaning it can capture a broader range of volume levels and sound frequencies. In comparison, a 16-bit recording can capture a more limited range of sound, which may result in a loss of detail and clarity. I've been looking for a set of studio cans for a while, and have always heard amazing things about the 770s, 880s, and 990s. Initially I was having a hard time figuring out which one of those would be best for me. I wanted a pair of headphones that I could simultaneously record with (meaning, with minimal spill), and that I could mix and master with.

Specification

Specifically designed for headphones with an impedance of 20 ohms to 300 ohms, this DAC amp offers a frequency response range of 20 Hz to 40,000 Hz, making it capable of producing clear and detailed sound across a wide range of frequencies. PSU: EVGA GQ-1000W 80+ Gold CASE: The MESHMOD v1.0 (Custom Deepcool Matrexx 70 chassis) MONITOR: AOC 24G2 144Hz (IPS) Whether a DAC amp is necessary for headphones, like the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (250 ohms), depends on its impedance, sound pressure level (SPL), frequency, and your personal preference. The DT 770 PRO (250 ohms) headphones have an impedance of 250 ohms, SPL of 96 dB/mW, and frequency range of 5 Hz to 35,000 Hz. Below I explain why all those are important to understand when choosing a DAC amp. The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 might have a bit of a harsh sound in the top end, but it’s an issue that can be adjusted. Unlike some of its competitors in this price range, the cables aren’t replaceable.

As goes the headphones, I rate them five stars in every respect taking into account their budget price. I also own Amiron Homes, which certainly sound a little better but which don’t quite fit my head as perfectly as the 770s, and I have a pair of 880 250ohms which I think have a significantly different sound signature from the 770s (very precise but understated bass and a gauzy, delicate treble). I am not a fan of closed headphones per se, but sometimes it is the only politic choice when wearing them around the house, and the 770s are the only such headphones I have so far found that I really enjoy the sound of and find comfortable when wearing for long periods. I find that the 80 ohm 770s work well on any device and yet they still benefit from dedicated amplification (which in my case comes in the form of a couple of Little Dot Mk 2 head amps in a couple of different systems. For my 250 ohm headphones these Little Dots are essential). I love these headphones. They fit very comfortably and do well with noise cancellation. Sound is great!

On top of that the comfort and the overall mechanical design was increased and a removable XLR cable was added that can be swapped out depending on what you’re doing. +Which ist the best headphone for mixing and mastering? We thoroughly researched and analyzed the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M DAC and found that it is an excellent choice for headphones with impedance ranging from 10 ohms to 600 ohms. Headphone fits comfortably on your head, does not cause sweating thanks to soft velvet pillows and does not wring your ears. Yeah. The difference is there. Maybe not noticable in gaming. But get the 250ohm version if you really are getting an amp/DAC combo. I'll recommend the Sound Blaster G5 or G6 if you have the budget and pair that with the DT 770 pro 250ohm. Also 250ohm has a coiled cable and the 80ohm does not. I prefer the 80ohm because I hate coiled cables. They weigh so much.
