About this deal

The towel microfibres claim to be “antibacterial” which is a great boost when drying off after using a public pool. Normally, it would take a full day for my cotton towels to dry from this, but the Eono Microfibre Towel felt almost dry within 30 minutes. The Eono Microfibre Towel comes in the same size as my previous cotton towels, but takes up a fraction of the space. That’s great advice thank you. Never realised that about microfibre. I’ve been doing it wrong. Great tips

Eono Microfibre Towel Gear Review (Is it any good?)

Having your own towel for traveling the world can be immensely useful. Going to the beach? The towel will keep the sand off your ass and out of your portable speaker. Want to have a spontaneous yoga session? Throwdown your towel and chaturanga away. Need to dry out those hiking boots after a long walk? Use that towel to soak up any leftover moisture in those boots (maybe do that after washing yourself though) This microfiber towel can hold four times its weight in water and dry up to ten times faster than standard cotton towels. Forget about that awful workout towel odor. Although they were a thin cotton blend, and the smallest I could find, they took up a lot of space in my swim bag. Microfibre was once seen as the poor relation to fluffy cotton. But times have changed, and now microfibre towels are not just a practical option – they come in a variety of sizes and designs and can be gentle on the skin. For the environmentally-conscious traveler, the Nomadix travel towel is about as ideal as it gets. This towel is made of 100% recycled materials – fibers from plastic bottles are processed into effective and comfortable nylon and polyester threads. These towels do not involve any sort of polymer-based microfiber yet they are still very good at what they do.Econo Microfiber Towel, Super Absorbent – Ultra Compact, Great for Camping, Gym, Beach, and Swimming. Commonly known as a workout towel or gym towel, a sweat towel is a must-have item during your workout. Using a sweat towel is good gym etiquette to keep your sweat off the machines, and it’s also an excellent way to keep you feeling fresh and dry during your workout. Perfect Sports Towel: And that’s where specialised microfibre wash liquids are different. In short, they are extremely pure detergents without any additives in it which could clog up you towels. However, that’s only half the story, because in this case you could also use any other pure washing liquid. But what dedicated automotive microfibre washing liquids also do, is being able to remove stuff that we as car care enthusiasts work with: waxes, sealants, polymers, …

Best microfibre travel towels 2022: Lightweight and fast

I need two towels for comfort as I have long hair. One towel takes care of my hair, while the other takes care of my body. Is This Towel Machine Washable? The Nomadix is a bit more expensive than other towels and quite larger as well. That being said, the larger price tag is more than justifiable – this towel will last longer than most and you will definitely get more use out of it. Some manufacturers tell you to wash their towels cold, some say between 30 and 40 degrees, and some go as high as 60 degrees. This recommendation scares a lot of people because they read somewhere that microfibre can melt – yes, you read that right: melt! – starting at 60 degrees. And in general, that’s correct. Microfibre is a comparably delicate material that definitely can be damaged by e.g. washing it at too high temperatures. As I said above, microfibre is a delicate material. This does not only mean that you have to watch out about the temperatures at which you wash those towels, but also at how “rough” your washing machine is to them. In general, I recommend to not go higher than 1’000 RPMs, preferably even lower than that. The 10 tips on how to properly care for and wash microfibres, i.e. towels, are the most important ones in my opinion. However, I want to provide you with some additional tips in regards to this topic that help you to get the maximum life span out of your towels and better understand the material:What I can definitely recommend is that you use liquid detergents and not granulates. There is a small risk that granulates don’t completely dissolve in the washing machine (i.e. if you wash cold, see below) and then become embedded in the microfibre towels’ fibres. There is no perfect or exact science when it comes to testing out travel and outdoor gear. However, we feel our years of experience across our team mean we’ve got a good eye for decent gear. Microfibre towels can be machine-washed with similar colours – just avoid using fabric softener as it will ruin the absorbency of the material. What is the best microfibre towel to buy?
