About this deal

Makoto Tsukumo ( 九十九 誠一, Tsukumo Makoto) is a shut-in who first appears in Judgment as a close friend of Yagami and often helps him at solving cases. In Lost Judgment, Tsukumo moves to Isezaki Ijincho where he has become a detective alongside Sugiura. He remains on friendly terms with Yagami and Kaito. He is voiced by Jun Miyamoto in Japanese and River Kanoff in English. Russell, Bradley (June 20, 2019). "Judgment tips: 9 essential things you need to know before you play". GamesRadar. Town exploration is somewhat easier as Yagami; he can run indefinitely and can also vault over cars and various other obstacles that previous Yakuza protagonists could not. However, he does not use any of the soda machines scattered across Kamurocho, and fight encounters occur almost instantly when they get close to him. As the game progresses, Yagami will eventually run into the Keihin Gang and its leaders, which start comprising more of the enemies he encounters. Yagami also has a City Reputation that he can build up by making friends with certain NPCs indicated on the minimap and doing favors for them; having a higher reputation opens up more Side Cases and is required to complete all of them. Takemitsu Owner –Met in front of his shop after you first help him in Chapter 7 (Located just east of Kanrai on East Shichifuku Street, his shop isn’t a marked building or a store you can enter) What was an absolute chore were the trailing segments, which were infuriatingly slow at times. They bring the game to a halt, and the slow-moving NPCs are just a pain to follow. Whenever I had to follow someone, I rolled my eyes and hoped I could get through it as fast as possible. Yoji Shono ( 生野 洋司, Shōno Yōji ) is a researcher at the Advanced Drug Development Center. Despite his calm personality, Shono is one of the masterminds behind the Mole case, having experimented a drug AD-9 to cure Alzheimer's. However, the sideeffects of AD-9 lead to the death of the patient Koichi Waku and the nurse Emi, which would result on Yagami quitting his work. Upon discovering Shono was behind Terasawa's death, Yagami tries to expose Shono who kills himself with his own drug. He is voiced by Makoto Nagai in Japanese and Michael Gough in English. He tells you to go meet here at Apple Pie, which is a restaurant just south of Public Park Three. He then stands in the smoking room in the theater from now on. After you’ve met her he wants to know people to also send to her to help her out, and you can send the following people after you befriend themBantam Owner– Bantam (Either after you buy everything off the menu once, or after you finish the Side Case Honey Trap, not sure which because I did both at the same time and he was able to be friended after) Third Location: Just outside Club SEGA (Theater Square), will be there right after you beat him at darts. You’ll get jumped by a group of Yakuza, then Ryan will show up and challenge you to a fight. After you beat him he’ll occasionally show up to help you in fights.

Judgment stands on its own, separate from mainline Yakuza titles, and I respect the team's commitment to mixing up its own tropes to keep entries in the long-running series fresh. While Judgment doesn't feel as bold or as fresh as Like a Dragon, it doesn't feel stale either. But if you remove the detective bits, you're left with just another Yakuza game. First Location: On the corner just West of KJ Art, when you go near you’ll pull out your drone to spot him on the wall Yagami looks into his only lead: Shintani's call to the ADDC - a research center funded by the Ministry of Health looking into a cure for Alzheimer's Disease, and an old haunt for Yagami, as the case that destroyed his reputation took place there. Issei Hoshino joins Yagami's investigation and they learn from Director Kido that Shintani wanted to speak with Shono, but he had been unavailable.

During Ayabe's trial, Japanese Vice-minister of Health Kaoru Ichinose covertly arranges a hit on Kuroiwa. Kuroiwa kills his assailants and storms the ADDC. Yagami, aided by his friends, finds Kuroiwa taking Shono hostage, intending to force him to finish developing AD-9. Yagami defeats Kuroiwa, and the police surround them, killing Kuroiwa when he tries to kill Shono. Shono injects himself with a new version of AD-9 and dies from its side effects after his eyes turn blue. Dr. Kido confirms Shono's human experiments at Ayabe's trial and explains that the victims had their eyes removed to conceal evidence of experimentation. The court acquits Ayabe; Ichinose and chief prosecutor Kunihiko Morita are imprisoned for their involvement; Kajihira is placed under investigation; Okubo is freed after three years on death row and reconciles with Sugiura, who is revealed to be Terasawa's younger brother; and Yagami and Kaito decide to resume being ordinary private detectives. a b c d Ahern, Colm (June 20, 2019).
