World-time Synthetic resin is the ideal material for wrist straps thanks to its extremely durable and flexible properties. o Display Real Estate - This goes along with the "Busy Extraneous Text" If they got rid of the unneeded text they could increase the display area.

Everyone knows Casio's watches are reasonably priced, tough, reliable timepieces. The casio gw m5610 is no different. The world-time mode directly shows another important improvement of the new module. During the use of a second time-zone in world-time mode, the original home time of the watch remains visible in the display as well. A very useful, almost indispensable function when traveling. In the old module, the abbreviation of the chosen city remained visible (like NYC), but where you are will be something you’ll remember yourself and hasn’t to be kept in the display in my opinion. This feature, of permanent availability of the home time in the display, shows in the stopwatch and timer mode as well. Stopwatch o Cheapish Band - I like the Barton silicone watch bands as the are soft and supple. The Casio band is a bit stiff. It is durable and we'll see how well it holds up. (I'll replace it with a conversion kit if I ever have band issues) Is it unique?– in the sense that it has its own vibe going on, or has a very distinctive feature or design element.

I got mine from Japan, but I am on the fence about buying the new 5000U now they’re available here in the EU as well. Is it clear?– it should be easy to “get” the design and to read the time. Here, some watches with a crowded dial can still qualify if the design is perfect. This is additional way for time sync. This watch receives time calibration radio signals that keep the displayed time accurate. The initial GW-M5610U-1 was only released in Japan and Europe, so it seems unlikely that the GW-M5610U-1C and GW-M5610U-2 will get a wider release that that.
